Based on the other reviews I sized down when ordering these and I'm glad I did. They are still a slight bit looser than what I'm used to but in a way that is more comfortable than disconcerting. The material of the shorts I received is slightly tatty in places at the seams and in one spot at the side of my leg. I can kind of see this in the photos now that I look closer but I wasn't expecting it when I received them. Personally I don't mind this effect as I think it gives the shorts character and the material seems strong enough to handle a pre-worn, slightly distressed style. Overall I love the look of these shorts, I just wish they fit more tts to save the hassle of guessing what size to get.

These shorts are really nice but a 2 was big for me and i usually wear a 26 waist.

i have these and i do really like them but i got a small and they DO NOT fit that tightly, there actually quite big. i am usually a small so i thought they were supposed to fit looselybut dont be fooled by this picture!!
