"I love this dress and the way it hugs your body. It's very tight through the bodice. I ordered the 4. I'm usually a 4-6 in Free People. Even though the train does not drag the ground as pictured on the model I still love this dress."

"I'm 5'2 with an hourglass shap - size 6 was perfect! The dress does not have a long train but I'm glad it doesn't, rather, It skims the floor with 4 inch heels. I love how you can glam it up with beautiful heels or punk it out with high heel booties, leather gloves, dark smokey eye, beach wave hair, etc. It's stunning. The middle is form fitting. The size 4 fit me, but the middle was a bit too tight. Size 6 was perfect. I normaly wear 4/6 - it all depends on the material and of course, the fit of the dress. Love it!"

"Absolutely adore this dress! The black lace is beautiful, I love the cute little buttons down the back, and it fits and hugs all the right places. I'm 5'4, 115 lbs, 34.5,25,35. I bought a size two and it looks fantastic, although a tad loose in the waist. Probably could have done a size 0 for a tighter fit. The back hits around ankle length for me, which I prefer over the long length pictured. I'm already planning on wearing it to an outdoor soiree this spring."

"I completely LOVE this dress. The cut of it is so slimming and flattering, and the pattern is obviously unique. I'm 5'7" and weigh 130, and I bought the size 2. I'd say I'm usually a 6 in most stores, but this one was a little roomy - I like things that are tight around my waist, though, so if you prefer more room there, then that might be something you take into consideration. (P.S. The photo I added was taken by Finest Moments Photography for my engagement pics!)"

"This dress began torturing me as soon as I laid eyes upon it in a local free people store. I'm so glad I finally gave in and bought it, because it is the most beautiful dress I have ever owned. I'm 5'4" and I bought a 12 (my normal size), which fits me perfectly. And when I say "perfectly," I mean it. For me, it does drag on the floor, so I have to wear shoes with a little bit of a lift with it. The real challenge is going to be finding enough occasions to wear it. But that is just my happy burden to bear. It's stunning."

"I receive compliments on this dress every time I wear it. It is gorgeous. I am 120 pounds and 5'6''. I ordered a size 4 and it is a little too big. The train isn't nearly as long as it appears. Overall, love it!"

"i bought this dress in my usual size 8 (i'm 5'11" and have an hourglass frame) and it was super tight, like a little too tight making me feel that this dress runs small. it looked amazing on and was very flattering. i personally think it's a gorgeous, special piece and my boyfriend liked it once i tried it on even though he hated it on the hanger."

"I debated over this dress for quite some time. I'm 5'3" so maxi dresses are usually too long. But this dress was the perfect length. With ballet flats, the train gently floats behind me on the ground. With heels, it doesn't drag at all. Finally a long dress for short people!
It isn't as bright white as in the pictures online, which makes it seem more vintage. I think it looks better.
Another detail I didn't notice in the pictures, is the row of buttons on the back, adding again to the vintage feel. But, luckily, there's a concealed zipper on the side so you can easily slip in and out of this dress.
I usually wear an XS in Free People, but when it's numbered I range from 0-4. For this dress the 2 fit snugly, absolutely perfect. I'm 32B, 27" waist. I have a bit of a belly... but this dress is amazingly slimming.
It's beautiful online. It's gorgeous in real life."
