Rated 4 out of 5Â by PaulaG so it is big, but can be fixed
I am 5,3, 108 lbs and 32b. So yes, I am petite. I already use XS in FP so I cannot size down. It´s true that the dress is very wide at the torso, but nothing a proffesional can´t fix. The problem is only there, the rest of the dress is loose but flowy, despite the not so thick material. The fabric and details are great.

I loved this dress online but was near the FP store in Philly and so glad I tried it on first. I'm not so sure the problem is in the fit as much as it's in the horizontal lace trim areas. I've seen this happen in other non-FP patchwork/pieced style dresses as well where the horizontal pieces are perhaps cut too short and cause the vertical materials to pull and bunch up in odd places. Can't imagine this being flattering on anybody and I'm sure they have the dress pinned in quite a few strategic areas on the model. However if you're a decent sewer or seamstress, the problems would be easy enough to fix by taking in the vertical fabric pieces to prevent the odd pulling and bulkiness. Could be a fun and worthwhile project for the sale price.

The pics here show the dress as a slim straight look, but the dress is actually super bulky and huge. Not flowy at all. Very thick cotton. I washed it thinking it would soften up and become more flowy but it did not. I'm only 5'3" 120 lbs, and it was drowning in it. Now that I washed it I can not return it so its a waste. I guess I can wear an $89.00 dress to do housework in. Super disappointed.

This dress is nothing like what the model is wearing! The model is supposedly 5'10" and I am 5'7" and the dress is shorter on me!? (I bought it in size small) That in itself would not be a problem if it didn't have 12 inches of extra material around torso and I am quite proportional so I wonder what happened, did FP send me a faulty dress?! It's going back and it's too bad because the material is so soft and comfy...:(
