It is beautiful, sturdy crochet work (my greyhound leaped up on me without ripping or stretching the outer layer it) with a slip that comes to mid-thigh, leaving a sheer hem to show off the crochet. It's fitted, but there's a bit of flounce to the hem as well, giving it something extra from your typical pencil dress. I found the extra-small to be true to size and not too long for my 5'7" (I'm generally an extra small or a 25-26 in FP). The sleeves and shoulders do stretch a bit throughout the day, but the silhouette stays perfectly wearable and I received many compliments. All in all a steal at the sale price! 12.26.2012

The shoulder portion is a little loose, but I don't think it will slip off my shoulder. The material is strong but stunning! I Can't wait to wear this out! 12.8.2012

Rated 3 out of 5Â by sakitty beautiful but not proportional to height I just recently bought this dress and it is very beautiful, however I am 5' 1" and the dress is not proportional to my height. FP's dresses are always made for taller people, but hemming them does the job. But with this dress, the torso is off. If you are petite I would not recommend you get this dress unless you get the shoulders/torso adjusted to fit your chest and waist better. It just looks like it hangs oddly on that area for me. But despite that the dress is gorgeous. I will most likely be sending it back unfortunately. 10.18.2012
