"This skirt is really lovely in person, and as the other reviewer stated it is much more of an old world cream than what is pictured... The waist does sit a bit higher than what im used to but the material is so soft and light that its not a big issue. This skirt is also very, very long so if your not very tall i would probably not recommend it, otherwise its really beautiful!"

"i was fall in love with this skirt when i 1st saw it online. this skirt is so romantic look~ the lace detail is extremely beautiful and stunning, the color is darker more like a vintage cream.. the material is amazing, so silky soft~ love the touch! i ordered the small, 5'5'' the fit is a bit loose on my waist and the length is a little long. but, it's absolutely beautiful and feminine..i LOVE it so much~ a very angelic piece i own!"

"I am so glad I didn't pay attention to the details. I don't normally buy silk because it wrinkles too easily but this dress... O.M.G. Photos do not do this skirt justice. First the color: the photos make it look ivory, but in person, it's more of an old-world cream color. And the fabric is so light it almost feels like clouds in your hand. Or at least what I'd imagine clouds to feel like. The lace detail is stunning. It is such a romantic skirt and it's absolutely gorgeous. The skirt is the single best item I've ever purchased from free people and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
NOTE: The skirt is sheer. Definitely need another layer underneath unless you want to go sheer. Also, it's very long but it's supposed to be (I think) to accommodate taller folks. The skirt I received had an ink stain near the butt which I really hate (FREE PEOPLE: PLEASE DO MORE QUALITY CHECKS-- the last item I purchased had a tear in it too). But I'm not returning the skirt as my size is sold out. No need to go a smaller size unless your waist is smaller in proportion to your body. I'm more of an apple so my normal size fit fine."

"This is one of my favorite FP pieces! Unfortunately I ordered a small at first (5'6" 120) and it was too loose...it sits high, over the belly button, and my stomach is very small so I had to return it for an x-small. The length is a bit longer than expected too, which I didn't mind. Nothing is worse than a beautiful skirt that is too short! I would recommend sizing down so that you get the really fitted look and can wear it with something snug on top. If it doesn't hug you at the band, it will fall down and won't sit right. Was so pleased with the material, so romantic and silky, color is gorgeous. Very highly recommend, definitely worth the price!!!"
