I'd say the denim is darker than it appears online.
It also seemed large on me. Normally, a 0 fits fine, but could have used a 00 here. My measurements are 32 24 34.

I've been waiting for this dress to show up a local shop since I saw it in the catalog. I really wanted to try it on! It's dark blue, maybe slightly darker than the pictures. I'd say it's a bit snug in the curves (bust, hips, butt) but I still bought my usual size 6. What really makes the dress are so many gorgeous details. The whole dress looks beautifully constructed. For sizing reference, I am 5'3", 140lbs, 36C. I bought the size 6 and it is a bit snug in the chest, hips and butt.
