These are really cute shorts--well made, nice color and markings--the problem is SIZE! I called customer service to find out what size I would need as the description provides little information. My hips are 33 inches, waist 26, I am 5 ft. 2 inches, 95 pounds and not one but three customers service employees (two being a supervisor--one of the two owned a pair of these shorts but was "too busy" to talk to me) suggest a size 28. I told them that I had never taken a 28 in any pants. I was told these run very small. Reluctantly, I agreed to the size 28, but before the order was over I stated I would rather try a size 27. Too late--the order went though and could not be canceled. No biggie, I just placed another order for a size 27. I received the size 27 yesterday and they are HUGE--baggy all over. I returned them. Still waiting on the 28 as I know they will be a return too. Too bad I was not provided with the correct information, as I stated, these are nice shorts but I don't want to place another order not knowing what size I need. Another thing, I bought these on a Birthday discount--well, that went out the window. I am disappointed. I suggest you order about three sizes in these shorts, maybe you'll get it right. If you are thin and petite, go below a size 27. The legs of these shorts are not tight as pictured--they are not that slim at all. This picture is misleading. I own other slim fitting shorts and these are not it.
