"i was so upset when this went out of stock in the white, and when i saw the black slowly slipping away in my size xs, i decided to grab it. hesitant about the color and length, i was rather certain this wouldn't work out but i wanted to try it anyway. the lace looks so amazing on the models! i just received this in the mail today and oh my lord, i am speechless. this is the absolute most gorgeous piece i have boughten from free people to date. made of a durable, thick lace, this is breathtaking. i am petite, and let me say that this is by no means a maxi skirt. on me, it is a maxi dress, but it looks so good as such! i can wear it in a number of ways: i pulled it up over my breasts to show just a little ankle (with heels!) and it looked beautiful. i can wear it with the top pulled up to just below my breasts for a maxi skirt in its only possible form for someone my size and it also looks lovely. at both times i paired it with the seamless romper in black and a vintage sliver belt. i decided to play with the fit a little more and pulled the front of the skirt up towards my breasts and cinched it with the belt to create a high, flirty hemline in the front and a long, sexy hemline in the back. again, omg, i cannot believe i was ever even skeptical of this, it is so versatile and in the end i am glad i bought the black. for petite girls like me, heels are a must, i also worked it with the jeffrey campbell joe lace-ups in black, which also looked phenomenal. you really just can't go wrong with this, so many ways to wear, what a beautiful, outstanding piece. thank you FP!!!"

"I am so glad i got the ivory before it sold out!!
I wore initially for christmas party as a dress with a red wide sash that I made out of I yd silk satin ($5!) and nude bandeau slip- it looks so gorgeous!!! Yesterday I wore with a leather brown belt and brown wedges. Love it - Iam thinking about getting the black one too. You'll have this piece forever, and the lace is sturdy but soft!!"

"And I'm glad I came in mid-week to see my size, so I grabbed the xs right away :) Definitely LONG on my 5'2" self. I dont have to pull it up if I'm wearing 5" wedges with it. But wore it with 3" espadrilles the other day to work, and I just have to roll the waistband twice so the edges don't drag on the ground :) There IS a slip! Yay FP! Got a ton of compliments on this skirt. You won't regret getting this -- it's BEAUTIFUL, twirly, flattering. A definite head turner :)"

Amazing in Cream!

"I tried this skirt on in the cream/natural/oatmeal color and it is absolutely gorgeous! I'm only 5'1" and it dragged on the floor in the back so I didn't end up getting it because I didn't want to "have" to wear platforms to wear it but it is must have if you're at least 5'3"ish. The color is rich and wonderful (better than the online pics) and the lace is not too fragile to wear it anytime. I think I just talked myself into getting it anyway... :)"

"I was kind of hesitant to order this, not sure what I would wear it with. I tried it with leggings underneath and it looks super cute.
However, it did come to $170 with tax and shipping, and looking at it, i realise that anyone who knows how to use a sewing machine can make it VERY easily. It is 8 equally sized panels and a ruffle at the bottom.
all in all, I am glad I bought it though.
Looks cute with a plain tank top or a tube and a nice low slung belt.
P.S. i am 5 feet 7 inches and weigh around 135 and I bought an XS and it is VERY long.
I fold it a few times to stop it from dragging. I wear it with flats though, not the giant heels the model is wearing."
