Very cool quality leather biker jacket

"I own a LOT of leather jackets (both vintage and new from high end designers to cheap but cool --- and everything in-between) and this one is sure to become one of my favorites. The quality of the leather is fabulous: super soft, not too thick and not too thin, so it drapes beautifully (perfect for any season depending on your climate). The collar and front have the light shaping wire built into it so you can adjust somewhat how they drape, which is always a nice touch. Because this is a cropped style, it is perfect for petite women, like myself. It doesn't overwhelm my frame and hits at a good spot above the hip. The distressed finish looks great. MuuBaa jackets run really, really small. So bear that in mind. I usually wear a size XS or 0 (I'm 5ft, tall and weight 93 lbs, measure approx. 34-24-34) and I ordered the UK size 10 and it fits perfectly. It's just loose enough to accommodate a mid-weight sweater underneath it, but not so loose that if I want to wear the jacket over just a t-shirt it would look too big. The cut in back angles in and is higher than the front so it keeps the jacket from looking too oversized or boxy (this jacket is designed to have a bit more of a loose drape as opposed to a super tight fit). So definitely bear that in mind when ordering. Since UK 10 is supposedly equivalent to a US size 6 but in reality, for this brand, it's much closer to a size 2. One other thing to note, the name of this color "Anthracite" would lead one to believe it is gray. In reality it is much closer to a brown tone. I know Free People's photos are frequently rather off when it comes to color so I thought I would point that out. It is similar in color to the photo (and people's monitors display color differently) but I'd say it looks a bit more brown than the website photos. All in all, a great jacket. Worth the money as it's a timeless style that I'm sure I'll still own and wear in 20+ years and the quality of the lambskin leather is great!"
