Does Not Hug My Waist and Disappointing Materials

"I read the previous raving reviews, but when I receive it I was very surprised: is this the dress they are oo-ing and wow-ing over? It is not terrible, but it is not good neither. The sequin is not too low-quality, the inside is soft, but somehow the material does not feel like a 200-dollar dress (I got it in sale, but seriously? you price this originally at 200 dollar? what is this, the evil of capitalism?) I got this dress the same day as I got my BCBG mini skirt (around $180) and I definitely feel the quality difference. The GREATEST issue I have with this skirt, is its shape. It DOES NOT hug my waist. I have a very small waist, and ordered a XS, while it fits my buttock, it is very hollow around my waist. As a result, I does not look flattering at all. It completely covers up my advantage. A really good design should not have this kind of fault. Maybe this has to do with the materials (the inside is super soft, I wonder if it has any strength), but again, I look terrible, waist-less in this skirt. RETURN!"

"I have bought many FP clothing in the past and this is the only one that has motivated me to write a review. It's made with such good quality, which sometimes isn't so with some FP items I have purchased in the past. I can't believe it is not sold out yet. I ordered an xs and I am 5'4 and 112lbs. The fit is snug yet comfortable bc it shapes your natural curves. It can be dressed up or dressed down. So obssessed with this skirt. You will not regret this purchase!"

"This skirt is just beautiful!!! Grab it at this price!!!! I had been watching it, but $300 was just too much. The sale price makes it a bargain given the quality and comfort of the skirt! I'm planning to dress it up with heels and dress it down with chunky boots for a more casual look. The sequins are a bit matte, so it can easily be dressed up or down. I'm so glad I was able to get this skirt - I'll be wearing it for years!!!"

"any sequin clothing i've owned was scratchy, especially at the legs, however not this skirt! the sequins are soft, not the hard irritating ones. i also own the sequin fever dress and this exceeds in quality X100. i definitely don't regret purchasing especially at the sale price!"

"Ladies, run, do not walk, to get this amazing piece. This is absolutely the coolest skirt I have ever owned, and believe me, I have a lot of cool skirts. Every woman needs this one in her closet. The pictures don't even do it justice, it is so beautiful and so versitile. I wore it to the theater last night with a black turtleneck, tights and mid-calf boots. I'm wearing it again on Sunday to a Christmas party and I'm going to do a rocker t-shirt and over-the-knee boots. I am 5'10" and 130 lbs and I got the medium, but if you want a more fitted look, the small would have worked too because it has some give. I can't say enough about this gorgeous skirt. buy it, you will not regret it and you will have it for years to come. It's impecibly made and will tak you just about anywhere!"
