"The material is very light weight, so you need to think about what you wear under it, but it was perfect for my vacation to FL. The straps make it long in the top, but I shortened them up and after that the fit is great. Perfect length as well. I seem to be consistent with Large in FP and this was consistent with that sizing."

"WOW is all I can say. Too bad there are no more of these available, and in many colors, as I would have ordered 5 more, I'm not kidding. Some of these style of dresses just look like tents hanging off your body, so you never know until you try them on, but this was super, super flattering. I could hardly believe it. It runs BIG, so even the small was large. I would order a size or 2 down. I felt like a movie star in this one, with a bod to match. :) Believe me, it is the dress. :) Please bring this dress back, it's so lovely and flattering, it should be in 10 different colors! & The back is super cute. the photo doesn't come close to showing how great this dress is."

"I've received a lot of compliments from wearing this dress. Very flowy, soft material. I normally wear a size 4-6/small in clothes, 34C bra, 5'3", and decided to go with my usual size S (without sizing down to XS). I didn't have issues with the length or the coutours of the dress. I personally think it's best to use this dress for layering, for example wearing a shirt or long sleeve under the dress. Throw on a belt, strappy sandals and you're good to go! It is a little see-thru-ish despite the dark colored fabric, so I counter that by wearing blank spandex shorts underneath. Very cool cut-out design in the back which also makes this dress unique from the others in my closet, it's a keeper for me :)"

"i am going to keep this dress because sending back from canada is a hassle but its rather shapeless ... i ordered a xs, and 57 130 pounds.. and it hangs in not the most flattering way. if it was a little tighter around the waist i would like it a lot more. someone with a biggest chest and taller might be able to pull it off"

"just got in mail and i do like it. a few issues but am keeping bc sale price is great. fabric is a bit thin but i can imagine on a hot summer day it will be perfect. (do not need slip) i wish it was a darker black...it is more charcoal in color. it flows nicely. sides of hem are slightly longer than front/back. i feel i may have to tighten the straps at shoulders and straps at cutout area. not a big problem though. i am 5'7'' dress does not skim floor it hits below ankle. can wear flats and not worry about getting dirty or stepping on hem. i love it with high wedges though."

"So easy and simple. Does run big, I sized down from reading review, but only 1size down. Straps are a bit long for me, but I really like this dress. Nice a-line shape for "hips." Wore with a contrast color tank top and sandals, perfect weekend dress for running errands. Fabric is awesome. Great sale price!"

"I'm a small person but in general FP XS usually serve me really well even when the style is supposed to be oversized. This number fell off my frame like i was a concentration camp victim. I love Fp and will always be a faithful shopper but this was definitely a disappointment. The plus side is that the fabric is dreamy and the details are true to FP style. For someone who can pull off the super drapey look this might be great on you and I applaude/am jealous of you."
