I am athletic build, 5-10"; 145lb. & found the size 29 to be perfect. I normally go to a 30 in a lot of jeans, just so that the waist is big enough due to my non-hourglass figure. If your legs are not firm, I could see having a problem with bulging (due to the moto styling) since these jeans have a lot of stretch to them. If you have firm legs, they fit like a dream and the zippers on the bottom make them so very special...The small flare gives a nice line at the bottom and allows these to be worn with so many different types of footwear. PLEASE BRING THESE OUT IN A BROWN OR OLIVE COLOR!!!!
I bought these in black and now am going back for the Kelp (blue).

These pants were not good. They fit like leggings but then were soooooo huge through the waist for me. I ordered them in "magnet" which I thought would be like a taupe colour with grey, but they were actually like a very dark grey with little patches of taupe. They had a lot of stretch, so I probably could have gone down to a 25 or 26 (I ordered my usual 27). The denim is super thin, so the seams were really unflattering and made me look lumpy. Then, they are like a 34" inseam, SOOO long, so they were really uncomfortable at the ankle with that zipper, because they bunched up. I could hem them right at the top of where the zipper is and they would just hit my ankle. As if all of this wasn't bad enough... the zippers jingle when you walk which is super annoying!

I love these jeans. I ordered the 29 (5'7", 128 lbs, hips 38", waist 27"). They fit great through the thighs and legs, but I did find the waist too large. This is a common problem for me and I'm just going to get them altered or wear a belt. Love the little details, especially the seam on the back of the calves.

Another great pair of jeans from Free People. Just enough stretch to be comfortable and super sexy. The zipper gives them a cool edge to be able to wear them as a skinny, or open. I say go for it!! =)

I was very hesitant upon buying these but I am so happy I did! I got the size 29 in the stark black and they fit like butter and the coloring is a vintage looking black! I was worried because Im usually a size 6 and the model pic says that she is wearing a 28 but they fit perfectly. I usually have issues finding pants that fit my larger backside and small waist but these are a dream! I will be ordering them in peacock as well!. Buy them while you can it is such a great deal!!
Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bellabop a wonderful pair of jeans
These jeans don't have many flaws; they're very comfortable, have a nice length, a flattering front zipper, as well as nice shaped butt pockets. I love the stitched details and the uniqueness of the zippers on the inner calf/ankle as opposed to the usual outer. My only dislikes about these and other fp jeans is that the butt pockets tend to be on the low side of the bottom. This might only be on me, but by having this 'flaw' I tend to continuously pull up the back causing the front to bunch and the back to sit higher then I would like and therefore I probably wouldn't lean towards wearing them with tops on the cropped side. Also if you don't like a little jingle, the zippers will really bother you.

I usually love free people jeans but lately have been going for more of the mid rise. These jeans do run a tiny bit big so I sized down from my normal 28 to a 27. If your not extremely toned these jeans may not be for you but if you workout buy in every color quickly cause these will be your new favs! You can't beat the sale price....they will be gone quickly!

The design is interesting I really like it. I got a 25 and the waist was a little loose, but they fit nicely tight and comfortable in the legs. My main problem is that one of the zippers doesn't stay zipped. I kept having to fix it during work, which is annoying since I'm constantly moving. But I was wearing high tops, so it could have been pushing up on it (although it was only on one side). I also wore them today and the ankle seam twists.. maybe just a slightly dysfunctional pair, but still cool.
