Adorable dress... I feel like a fairy in it. Definitely super sheer - am not sure why they didn't add a lining to it?? I actually added lining myself to the skirt and to the bust (I sewed in some loose padding from a bikini that I wasn't using) and it was perfect. Warning to all busty girls - anyone a size B cup and over will be showing the full definition of your breasts in the top without adding some type of lining!!! Super revealing... I'd say you'd need some real balls to wear this without modification. :)

i like this dress- however the two color choices it comes in (white and moss) are totally wrong for it. the fabric is REALLY SHEER- so it only makes sense to make it in darker colors to combat that. wearing a bra under it completely ruins the look of the dress, so i disagree with the reviewer who paired a lace bra under the dress. it breaks up the delicate nature of the design way too much. i wish FP would make this in black or a dark red or purple. the moss color i ordered looked like a really dirty green- it makes the dress look like a peasant girl costume. they make this exact same style dress in a print version that costs $80 more.

I hear what everyone is saying about it being sheer. Yes, it's sheer but sheer is kind of the thing right now and that makes it sexy. I wear it with my nude boyshorts, layer on the mala beads and voila!! It's beautiful. I get so many compliments and no one seems to mind that is sheer. I actually prefer it to be totally sheer and wear it as a day dress only. When it looks opaque it's just not as cool looking and looks a little material heavy at times. My friend I met out for lunch asked if she could buy my dress from me because she loved it so much. I have the olive color and I really love it. I am 5'9'' and weigh 123lbs. I got the small and if fits great. I am not big chested at all, which I think allows me to get away with wearing this dress. If one were more voluptuous it might be a little obscene not to wear a little more underneath but I just go freely in it.

this is a dress that deserves its 5 star and nothing less. This is not really a dress you wear to the mall or out to dinner with the boyfriend's parents, this is a dress you wear to the beach or out to a romantic picnic. I wear it with a lace halter bra. If you must dress it for everyday wear, then just throw a sweater over the top and tights underneath, and its a beautiful maxi skirt. Also there's these tiny bells on the ties that jingle and chime as you walk around. the bottom of the skirt has a lot of extra material and bellows and flows as you walk. the moss color is a beautiful color. For sizing, im 5 7 and 140 lb 34b and the xs seems to fit fine, hits right at the floor, although i imagine i can fit a s just fine too.

It is sheer! Why, oh why, is FP insisting on using sheer (or artificial) fabrics? This dress could have been awesome, if it was not for the transparent fabric. It can be only be worn at home, or beach. Too much money for nightie or swimsuit cover...eh...Pity, once again.

I was so excited to get this dress and then so disappointed when I received it. Its completely see through and since the back is so open, you cannot wear a slip with it. For the price of this dress, it should be lined because it's too expensive to wear as a swim cover up, I'll definitely be returning this one.

The dress is stunning, really stunning. It's one that's timeless in its simplicity. It's one of those pieces that don't need anything else, because it's that perfect. It hugs anybody type softly. Very flattering and feminine.
However, I gave it 3 stars out of 5 because it's way too sheer and the material seems too delicate for the price. Nude undergarments do not work for this dress. As a result, this can only be used as a swim coverup or can be worn in a private setup with close friends. This dress requires a comfortable space, not a public space (excluding beachy vacation spots) if worn as a regular dress.
Your body's contour lines can be seen through the dress indoors so I can imagine that it's completely visible in the sunlight.
The other option I was considering was to tailor a lining for it by buying perhaps 3 meters of fabric to slip underneath it and the bust area. There's a little too much nipple action, or that can be fixed by wearing pasties.
Yet, I'm afraid that the fabric and stitching is too weak to handle and support an entire lining. The bust stitching has already started to unravel on the outer sides of the bust.
For measurement purposes, go with your regular size even though there's plenty of wiggle room because of the adjustable straps and style. I'm 5'8, 34C, 145 lbs, slender but on the curvier side. I went with a MEDIUM and it offers good bust coverage and hangs beautifully off your derriere in the lower back.
This dress is great because its adjustable making it usable in both your slender and bloated days. The length in the front reaches just above my toes and the back sweeps the floor giving it a very beautiful slow exit (which I walked away watching myself too many times). Yet the length can be adjusted slightly by the halter ties if a tad bit too long.
Although the dress is a bit impractical in its usages I'm keeping it because it has the power to make you feel like a goddess when you put it on. Plus, I'm going to try to put a lining on it so I'm not so limited in its wear-ability.
I just really hope the material is stronger than I think it is, I'm a little afraid of washing it and wearing it outside because of the length of back sweep. The hem stitching is a bit raw, causing concern for the hem to fray like jean shorts do.
If you plan on wearing it seldom, or on rare/special occasion, go for it. However, if you want to wear it as a dress more a regular, think twice about it. I wanted the latter, but it's just too beautiful to give back without a fight/ solution.
