"My regular size is S, but I took a chance and got the dress in XS. So, I should say it runs slightly big.
It fits well in all places. The length is just right with or without hills for my height (5"7'). The fabric is so soft and feels nice to the skin.
I can't wait to wear it when the days get a little warmer!"

"This dress is super long, but on sale, I'm willing to hem it. (I'm 5'2" and took it up about 2/3 inches.) The fit is crazy flattering and TTS. Note: Because this is fitted in the bust and rib area only, wear your usual top size. The dress will fit no problems everywhere else."

"This dress is made well and feel very soft on the skin . I am 5.7 and 140lbs - the S is right . The length had to be corrected but better if a dress is to long then to short . Wonderful free spirit style of a dress.
I like it and got the color ; red - pink one .

"I really love this Maxi. It is beautiful and flowy. A lot different than any other maxi you normally see. I don't really like my arms so I was excited to see a maxi with 3/4 sleeves. I wear a medium and it is a bit loose. I am also 5'3'' and the dress is a bit long. Even if I wear heels with it, it will drag along the floor. I probably will end up hemming it because it is a perfect dress."

"This dress is absolutely beautiful. I ordered it while I was out of town on a Monday, and by that Friday when I got home it was waiting for my arrival. I cannot believe how comfortable the dress is! FreePeople has done it once again. I got an XS (5'7, 115), and it fits amazingly. I know it's winter right now, but I do believe that this baby will be seeing some wintery sunlight in the near, near future. She is just too beautiful to keep in my closet!"

So pretty, but not for me

"This dress has been one on my wishlist for a long while now, and I was gifted it for the holidays. While I'm normally a medium in FB, this dress was quite big compared to other medium pieces I have. The shoulders bagged on me, the empire waist was down just above my hips, and the length was insane. I am short, so I expected so extra material at the bottom, but this was something I wouldn't even have been able to hem. I was heartbroken!
Sizing aside, the dress is delicate, soft, and super feminine. Given how long it is, I'm just going to return it, but I am so sad that it doesn't fit.
On someone taller with a longer torso I can see this working really well. On someone short and curvy, it's not quite the hit I wanted it to be."

"I saw this dress and instantly fell in love with it. I saw it in the store and it was on sale. I tried it on and knew that I had to have it! It is gorgeous. I'm 5 '10 and it fits me perfectly!"

"I bought this in the red combo color and the print is very pretty in person. The fabric is soft and so is the sweater top. Also very comfortable. I am 5'10, 165lb and this dress was the perfect length, just barely missing the floor by less than an inch. I ordered a medium and it was a little big in the front and It seems that there is too much fabric on the sides but nothing that cant be fixed by a belt or brooch or something. The top part almost looks a little plain without anything anyways. Overall I love this dress it is very soft and comfortable. I may even get it in the blue color too"
