This is a very cute traditional baby doll dress with a traditional baby doll fit. I have the taupe which has a bit of a mauve tinge in it. The flowers are vibrant and beautiful. This dress is a bit more sheer than expected. I would definitely recommend a slip or romper underneath. Very cute spring/summer dress!

This fits a bit big and especially the armhole. It is not the same dress as shown in the catalog! It's a bit different, if you look at it online that is what it looks like. It was tweeked a bit! A LOT shorter and the sleeves don't extend a bit with black,as shown in the catalog. Still very cute, but I would never wear it as a dress, waaaay too short. Its super cute with leggings though. I'm 5'7 and a size 6 and I got the small because of the armholes. If you want it a tad longer and don't care about your bra showing get the medium, but be warned it does run big aready. I personally wouldn't wear it as a dress neither would any of the employees at the free people I went to unless you don't mind it really really short.

I kind of liked this dress when I saw it online, but I'm so glad I got to try it on in store because I definitely think it looks so much better in person. I don't usually love loose-fitting dresses like this, I'm 5'7" and pear-shaped and I don't like appearing larger than I am but I thought this dress draped really nicely. I did try on a small, when I'm usually a medium, so I'd say go a size smaller, also I think it looks super cute with a belt if you want to make it look more fitted. I don't think it's too sheer, the flower pattern disguises pretty much anything unless you're wearing like red panties or something. The length on me was the same as on the model, and the colors of both are accurate in the photos. Overall, big thumbs up! Super comfy!

If I didnt read the reviews on this site i would not have tried this dress on. However I am glad I did. This dress is super cute on. I am 5'9 128 pounds, and I got the small.

i was really nervous to try this on because it looked so pretty on the hanger but knew it wasn't form fitting at all. i like loose things but because it is knee length in the catalog photo, i was worried i would just look short and frumpy. when it was on, i felt the complete opposite. it was not as long on me as i thought it'd be (i'm 5'4") and the shape was really pretty. i'd definitely keep this as a day dress. and a lot of the time i'm disappointed in the modifications FP makes from the catalog to when it's ready to buy on the site, but i think in this case the edits are great and make it much more flattering!

Before I ordered it I asked a fitting question but no one answered me. I got the small, was very concerned about the arm hole, but anthing larger and the dress would have been too big. On me it is alittle too long and I wish it had the black trim at the top I ordered another dress at the same time that I was sad to have to send back so I kept this one,I'll have to work with the top area and probably have the dress shortened.
Rated 4 out of 5Â by looney527 So much cuter in person, than in the catalog photo
I saw this dress online and didn't even look at it because it didn't look like a flattering style. When I saw it at the store, I thought why not try it on for fun. I usually only go for more fitted styles. This was so much cuter on than I expected it to be. I am 5'8, 125 lbs, size 27 or s in bottoms, 2, 4, or xs in tops and dresses, 34b. I tried this on in the xs. It is definitely roomy, but that is the style. The length hit at my mid thighs. I went back and forth about whether or not to get it, because it was just so cute and different. In the end, I decided not to get it because I am on a budget and still feel more attractive in more fitted clothes. Part of me wishes that I went ahead and got it anyway...

I tried this on and went back and forth about getting it. I did not. This is why: 1. Too sheer to wear alone and I'm tired to having to scramble to find slips to wear with FP clothes. 2. The bunching of the material above the bust caused massive preggo/tent effect on me and it was all around unflattering. (And I'm only a 34B and I tried on the smallest size possible - XS - even though I'm a small.) 3. While shorter than the catalog shot, I still found the dress too long for my 5'2" frame. (Although, on a taller girl, this will not be a problem. The dress fit me like it does in the catalog b/c of my height.) That said, if the only angle anybody is going to be looking at you is straight on and you'll be in a dimly lit room without a need for a slip and you have nothing in the way of a chest to cause the dress to tent out, it's lovely. SIZE DOWN A FULL SIZE!
