Rated 4 out of 5Â by looney527 So much cuter in person, than in the catalog photo
I saw this dress online and didn't even look at it because it didn't look like a flattering style. When I saw it at the store, I thought why not try it on for fun. I usually only go for more fitted styles. This was so much cuter on than I expected it to be. I am 5'8, 125 lbs, size 27 or s in bottoms, 2, 4, or xs in tops and dresses, 34b. I tried this on in the xs. It is definitely roomy, but that is the style. The length hit at my mid thighs. I went back and forth about whether or not to get it, because it was just so cute and different. In the end, I decided not to get it because I am on a budget and still feel more attractive in more fitted clothes. Part of me wishes that I went ahead and got it anyway...

I tried this on and went back and forth about getting it. I did not. This is why: 1. Too sheer to wear alone and I'm tired to having to scramble to find slips to wear with FP clothes. 2. The bunching of the material above the bust caused massive preggo/tent effect on me and it was all around unflattering. (And I'm only a 34B and I tried on the smallest size possible - XS - even though I'm a small.) 3. While shorter than the catalog shot, I still found the dress too long for my 5'2" frame. (Although, on a taller girl, this will not be a problem. The dress fit me like it does in the catalog b/c of my height.) That said, if the only angle anybody is going to be looking at you is straight on and you'll be in a dimly lit room without a need for a slip and you have nothing in the way of a chest to cause the dress to tent out, it's lovely.
