I got these on sale... such a fun pair of jeans! I love the suede detailing at the seams. The waist is true to size, but I found the length to be very long. They are probably best suited to anyone 5'10" +. I am 5'4" and plan to wear these with ankle boots (2" heel), and I still had to cut off about 2" of fabric around the cuffs. I don't want to cut off any more than that, because it would alter the flared shape of the pants.
Anyway, love these jeans... but just a suggestion: it would be great to offer them in a few different inseam lengths as well (with the flare starting point proportionate to overall length), to suit more average-sized people.

I was very excited to get these jeans in the mail and when they finally arrived and I pulled them out if the box they were not at all what I was expecting. My jeans had no difference in color with the different patches as shown in the picture and they were about 3 inches too long (as some of the other reviewers suggested and I am only 5'2" but still!). Besides the length though they fit quite nicely which was the only part i liked. I really wanted these to be great but it just didnt work out as I had hoped.

I'm a flare junkie so these were perfect. I'm 5'6, 145 and my normal 28s fit perfect. My jeans didn't have a major contrast in color as shown on the model and I didn't notice there subtle dirt stains on the thighs. The stains were subtle so not annoying enough to wanna send back. The leather piping is a great touch.

When I seen these jeans I just had to have them. I rated them five stars only based on the style and construction. I ordered them in a 31. From my past experience the larger sizes tend to sell out quickly so I didn't thnk long on these. Which is still true. FP if you sell out of something consistenly all the time why not order more in those sizes? I love the wide flared bottoms. The pieced side pieces with the piping is cool too. They are heavy , well made jeans for being made in CHINA! Sorry I won't go there at all. The thing is, the pair I got has grease stains on them in mupitiple places. It's like they took old jeans and cleaned them and then cut them up and re-used them or something. Which is fine, I'am all for going green, but the grease stains or coffee stains or what ever they are did not completly come out of the material. I count 9 different big spots all on the front of these jeans. The back of my pair seem to be fine. Up near the front pockets, down in the middle pieces of demin and also on the bottom portions of the jeans. I don't want to walk around looking like I am wearing dirty jeans. Even if that were the style I wouldn't do that. Distressed is fine but greasy stains I don't think so. The problem is if I send them back FP may not get my size back in. Just like with the different Extreme Flared jeans they sell. I waited for months and months and ended up having to buy them used off e-bay as FP couldn't seem to get any of the washes in that style back in a size 31. If I wash these and the stains don't come out then I am stuck with paying 128.00 for a pair of jeans that I won't wear. I called FP a few days after I got these and noticed the stains. Thank goodness I hadn't shortened them yet (their six inches to long for me) . I called to re-order another pair of 31's but they were already out of stock. FP told me I could send them back if I wanted too. I asked when they would be getting my size back in stock but they couldn't answer that question. So, I am sitting here not sure what I should do with them. I was told once they were washed that they couldn't be re-turned. I guess it's better to send back then to keep them and be out the money. Maybe FP should personally check out stock coming from other countries before putting product into open stock to sell. Cute jeans just check them out good before keeping!

Very happy with jeans! Receive compliments every time I wear them. I wear them with FP New Romantic Sleeveless Texture Tank. I am 5'4" so I had to buy 4" & 5" wedges to get them to fit length wise. Ends are fringe so I didn't want to chance having a seamstress mess that up. Not sure if it could be duplicated if hemmed. Cool detail of suede sewn in between the sections. Also, ordered my normal FP size and I am happy.

The fit and flare is perfect. They do run a little long but a short heel will fix that. Or wear flats if you don't mind frayed bottoms!
Rated 5 out of 5Â by drdi plenty of flare to shorten
I'm 5'3", so had to cut a few inches off of these. you do lose the fraying, but they will eventually do that again. There is a lot of flare in the leg, and losing 3 or 4 inches does not hurt the look at all. They fit true to size, snugly, but not super tight. Just right for now worrying about having to wear a belt. The dark colored pair was perhaps as not dramatic in color differences as the picture, but pretty close to what you might expect. Very comfy and cute

I don't own these but just wanted to comment on them. I've seen these in person and they look just as shown. Yes they are long, but they're made to have the hem drag like the model in the studio pic. For everyone who is returning/complaining that their jeans are "dirty", that is done on purpose! If you look at the closeups of the jeans on your screen, they all have what appears to be dirt patches running down the fronts and sides of the jeans. I don't think they are able to come out as it is probably dyed in and I'm sure it's not really dirt. I haven't purchased these jeans yet but I'm curious about the fringe beige kimono in the studio pic. Is that available?
