Bought this in black and it is awesome. Am very happy with the purchase - it can be worn more casually with a pair of jeans or leggings and since it is black, I also plan to wear it for holiday with boots/heels and dress it up with a cool scarf or jewelry for parties! Can't wait for holidays!

I fell in love with this dress in red as soon as the July catalog came out. After going back and forth numerous times about it, and checking the online reviews, I finally broke down and bought it. The color was just a gorgeous as it featured online and I wanted to love it but it just didn't fit right. The first size I bought was too big so I downsized, but it just doesn't fit right. The problem I have with this dress is the slip and though it is adjustable, it still didn't do the job. The saddest part is that the slip isn't removable, so if the slip doesn't fit you right it makes the whole dress unwearable. Sadly this dress will be going back to the store and I'll be searching for something else.

I purchased this in antique this weekend (its almost a pale pink) and it looks amazing. I am usually around a 2 (sometimes a little bigger) and am a bit chesty, and the 2 fits perfectly. I got no less than 15 complements at work today and it's not even lunch. WORTH EVERY PENNY! Buy this dress!

I ordered a size 8 in the antique color. On the website, it's a bit difficult to tell exactly what the "antique" color is, but it's a pretty pinky peach--really lovely. I am 5'7" 145lb 36C and I ordered a size 8, however I think a size 6 could have worked because this runs just the teeniest bit big, I think (other reviewers have mentioned this also.) The slip underneath is adjustable, fortunately. However, it is also very short!! I have a bit of a booty, and the slip just *barely* covers it. Fortunately because of the longer lace hem it works out ok. I find that this dress looks best with a belt, and because of the short slip hem I prefer to wear it with charcoal tights. Though the lace is not exactly soft, it's not itchy to wear. The lace, while it seems fairly durable as far as lace goes, does tend to snag on things like rings, purses and necklaces, so take care. Found that the sleeves have stretched out a bit at the cuff, so they are not as fitted as before. However, overall this is absolutely adorable; fun and feminine to wear and got several compliments.

EEEEhhhh... This is less than stellar recreation of the miles of lace dress from last season. Unlike the dress from last season, the slip on this is sewn in. Great if the slip fits you right, but on me it came too low in the chest and showed my bra. The triangle point in the front is less than flattering. I do like the sleevel length on this one better than the miles of lace dress... maybe an inch or two longer. I don't like the length overall... it's too long on my 5'2" frame. I'm a 6, the 4 fit me like the model. Size down.

This dress is perfect. I got it in the cream color. It really compliments my skin color and makes me look thinner. :) It looks better in real life and I got tons of compliments. I ordered my actual size instead of sizing down as usual with this brand and there was a smidge extra around the waist, so I used a belt. I wouldn't size down for fear of it being too short. The slip is pretty short, but the overall look is not at all. I will probably buy it in another color.

Free People is pushing out lace dresses like crazy this season, and quite frankly, this one isn't the best. While the fit is flattering and the material is very pretty, it is not very soft and the triangle cut hem is weird. I personally do not like adding more fabric to the front, as it gets caught between your legs when you walk-- just not a smart design.
