Flattering but BIG

"I usually am a small to a medium, but I purchased an XS after reading the reviews and they were all true when they say that this blouse runs big. It is a perfect fit on me in an XS and when it fits right, it looks gorgeous! The mocha is a very unique but a nice color and perfect for all seasons. The material is sheer so an undershirt is a must, but for 30 bucks from FREE PEOPLE, the blouse is definitely worth it! Would look very cute with thick tights or tight skinny jeans! AWESOME! (:"

"First off, let me state for the record that I did read the reviews before I ordered this. All of the comments about the tent-like proportions of this tunic didn't scare me away because I love flowy sheer things, but this is, like, circus tent-like in size. I ordered this in a small -- my normal size -- thinking, "How big can it be?" But when I got it in the mail and immediately tried it on for my boyfriend, his eyes bulged wide as he insisted I was sent an XL. I pulled it off, showed him the tag as proof that nope, it was in fact a size S, and we both shook our heads as I took it off and put it right back in the mailing packaging. It's a shame, because the fabric is nice. In the right proportions this would be cute. That is to say, if it actually looked in person the way it does on the model in the photo, I'd love this top. But she's either wearing an XXXS not made available to the public, or that thing is expertly pinned to disguise the true dimensions of this unfortunate top.

"1) Seems well-made, good quality.
2) Fit is loose, so I sized down per other reviews.
3) The length is perfect for a tunic; however, the "waistline" is more like an empire. I cannot really belt it at this area.
I'm not sure if this is due to my height (5'9")- but I got a Small, and other FP clothing of this size fits proportionately well.

"I wish I had tried this top on in the store because I could have saved myself the shipping money I will lose when I definitely return it. It is not just a little big but HUGE and unflattering. I went down one size based on the reviews I read but this was just too long for my 5'6" frame and definitely too wide! I hate rating anything only one star so I gave this top 2 stars for the OK fabric. I would suggest try on first and make sure this is the style you like before purchasing. It does, however, look so cute on the 6" tall model."

"When i first saw this i fell in love with it! and didnt think it would look flattering on me, and based on the reviews did not have high hopes, but then i went to the store and all they had left was xsmall and small so i tried and xsmall and it fit perfectly! now im normally not an xsmall by any mean i typically wear a medium in most things, large if i want it baggy but this was reallllyy big, i even think i could have gone another size down. that being said it still fits really nicely and i love wearing it with black leggings and boots for the winter! if you wear a medium or large then this is for you, if not then dont bother."

"When I first saw the picture on line I fell in love with the ivory, but decided to order the mocha instead, thinking it more practical. Based on reviews I sized down; I usually wear medium or large (I like things roomy) but got this in small. OK, the mocha turns out to be gorgeous and the small is the right size. It is meant to be a large, flowy blouse. Got several compliments on the mocha. I then ordered the ivory which turns out to be true ivory and not as white as it appears in the picture on line. The ivory is still beautiful but a true white might have been nicer. Anyway, this is a gorgeous blouse and at the sale price, how can you go wrong? Definitely order down one or even two sizes."

"I just received this tunic today. I purchased it in the mocha and it is gorgeous! It is very large but looks adorable on! I am absolutely thrilled! I was hesitant to purchase this item because of some of the reviews I had read but it is the perfect bohemian tunic that you can actually wear as a dress!!! So happy I bought it!"
