Hike that dress up baby!
10.15.2011-
"(I tied the straps in the back to bring the dress up higher. The waist line now rests at an empire height instead of it being at the natural waist position. I took it from a dress to a tunic.) I feel like I am wrapped up in a blanket. The cotton falling down in many folds below my bust like flower petals. From behind, the garment arches up exposing my blue jeans, sweet peek."

Hmm..
9.1.2011-
"I bought this dress in April and I purchased the small, just because the XS was a little too short in the butt. The top is EXTREMELY low cut, but I was in love with the pattern and shape. I bought the dress, and I got my aunt to cut the straps and shorten them a bit. This definitely helped, along with a pin between the chest (....I lost the pin and it caused a major wardrobe malfunction). This could be fixed with a bandeau as well. I love this dress, but it is a fixer-upper!"

VERY short, very wide
8.11.2011-
"I know I have a long torso, but this dress was too short for even a swimsuit coverup! It's pretty much shirt-length and there is so much fabric, like enough for 2-3 dresses all gathered up. I was excited by the picture but it did not work in person and I had to return it."

Love it - but a tad to big!
7.2.2011-
"I love the concept of this dress. Love the pattern. Love the color. Only thing I don't love is that the sizing is off. I normally fit into either an XS/S just fine...but the XS I tried on was even a tad to big on me. It's still workable though. I have to pin it up a bit so it stays on..but otherwise I like it. Definitely recommend sizing DOWN on this. If you're normally a Medium...I'd still even purchase an XS! 115lbs/5'4"

LOVE
6.14.2011-
"So I happen to adore this dress. I have no clue how they got it to fit on the model like they did though. I'm 5'2" and normally a 6/small. I got the xs and it was too large, but I was determined to make things work. I took the shoulder straps in an inch and a half or so and leave the waist tie loose. The fit is free flowing, almost like the swing time dress, which isn't what you see in the studio images, but it's still super cute. I love the flounce part. I guess what I'm trying to say is the fit is gigantic, it's not going to fit like the model, but if you take in the straps and cinch a belt at your waist, maybe."

Wear it backwards!
6.12.2011-
"I bought this dress in-store today when I saw it on clearance; I've wanted it for ages! I'm glad I was able to try it on first. I am typically a size M and was planning on getting a S, but they only had an XS. I noticed that while roomy enough in the "dress part", the XS felt too tight on the straps and did nothing to pull up the deep plunge of the neckline. So, I got the size M. I agree with the other reviews: it plunges to my stomach (I'm 5'4") and would expose every inch of my chest if I didn't wear something underneath it. I tried it on backwards and was about to write a review on how cute it would look if worn with the tag in the front, but somebody else already beat me to it! Try it that way, though. The back is so short I would be self-conscious walking around without leggings underneath, but when worn turned around it's longer in the back and not too short in the front, plus it would fit like a tank in the front so you could wear it without anything else on underneath. If I wear it the "right" way, I'll probably sew up the neckline a little or add a button. And I also agree with the people who said the drawstring feels flimsy. I'm scared to pull on it too hard! All things considered, though, this dress is too cute to pass up!"

Hippie Chic!
6.6.2011-
"I agree with some of the other reviews, that this is a specific dress, but I love it! I put true to size only because it runs long in the straps, but short on the length.. I just have to sew the straps about an inch shorter.
As you can see on the model, it comes very low in the front, so if this is not a look you're comfortable with this isn't the dress for you.. I just wear a bralette/tank underneath & it's fine! I have a large chest, and it still works..I am 5'6" 120lbs and a Dcup, I ordered a Small. it adjusts with a (tiny)string under the boobs.. so I would size down if anything.
