Surprised!!

"I was very disappointed when I received the dress. The fabric is so much thinner and see through than it appears on the model. It's definitely not worth the price; sale price or full price. I'm very surprised that FP would sell an item so inferior in quality and appearance. This was my first online purchase from FP; I returned it the next day. Not in a hurry for any online orders from FP. I will be visiting the Stores so I can better assess what I'm paying for.
Very disappointed!!!!"

"I'm a tall one 5ft9in and this is NOT a dress. I wear the FP bodycon skirt in black underneath this and it looks adorable. How i wish they made actually dresses for us tall folks. keep dreaming!"

"I truly and honestly thought this dress would be an utter nightmare on me. I took a chance on it. It is absolutely perfect! I am 34c, 36-28-37 and it makes my figure look so much better than it actually is! I usually have problems with the smocking not hitting me in the right places , but this fit ever so flatteringly. Now I just wish I hadn't waited so long to try it!"

I've been looking at this dress a long time and finally decided to order it. It"s really cute and I love the style, but, you can see thru it. You either need to wear it as a cover-up or wear a slip under it. And during the summer, why would you want to wear a slip.?Unfortunately I returned it."

"And I look great in it. I am 5'2" with a 32 F (yes, F) breast 26 1/2 waist. I am 51, but am blessed with good genes and can pass for 36. However I thought it had a halter strap and there is no way I can pull off a tube top. So I added ribbon straps. Wore it to work today with royal blue tights and a short ( Anthropologie) navy blue sweater and knee high black leather boots. I got tons of compliments from staff, and patients, men, women and teenage girls. My boyfriend also loved it. This is a GREAT dress."

"I tried this store on in the Black in the LA branch of FP a few months ago. I am 5'8 and 121 measurements 34-24-36 and this made me look HOT!!!! It made my AA breats look like C's and it made my waist look paper thin. My cousin was with me and tried on the orange-ish one and it looked AMAZING!! She is about 5'6 and 130 and it gave her a bombshell bod (ps: she's a brunette, so for brunettes the orange is really complimentary). The airy skirt feels great when you move. As another reviewer stated, this gives you a little bit of the long-torso look, but the short skirt makes your legs look perfect, as it hides the flaws of your butt and upper thigh area. You can see from the photos that it's a cover up type dress, not for a formal event of any sort. If you can afford it, definately buy it!"

"I love this dress. I usually avoid strapless dresses because I feel like I'm constantly pulling them up, but I never have that problem in this dress. It is a little short so I wouldn't advise wearing it on a windy day. Overall,though, I am happy with this purchase."

"i realize that im only 13 and short, but this just made my torso look like it went on forever-in a bad way. the colors are alright, theyre a little dark for me, but the tube top part is soooooo long, and if i want it to look like it does on the model, i have to fold the top down. the skirt part is very short, and kinda see through, definately not school appropraite, even everyday appropriate. it would maybe be a cute cover-up, but not for that price."
