"I ordered this dress in ivory, size 4. It fits well in the top but is large elsewhere. I am 34-24-37 and 5'5". I think it is just the styling of this piece and will keep it. The beading is intricate and feminine. I was sad to see some were missing, even if I paid sale price. It is a true ivory color-don't expect white. I feel like a snowflake in it and think it will add to holiday fun! Grab one....."

"So the invoice identifies the dress as the "cinderalla dress"....I was soo looking forward to getting my shipment....since i wanted to luv the dress.....to my dismay it is an odd style/ poorly constructed for a womans body.....for ref i am 5.7"m 125 lbs, D cup....I did fit in the size 6...since it has the elastic band in the back....but my boobs look bad.....the cup is too small....not flattering it at all to a femmes assets...also the torso is out of proportion.....it fit too loosed....not form fitting (but that can be fixed by a good seamstress)...i am sad that the dress did not meet my expectation......sadly i will have to return the dress....i still think it is ridiculously overpriced for the fabric type (not that its bad quality) and minute embelishments on the top.....i bought a similar dress last year from FP at abt 100 bucks......talk abt more than doubling the price.......i might buy the 8 only on sale...not worth full price...especially when i will have to have it tailored..........hope this helps in sizing....peace....."

"OK, I tried this dress on in the store and understand what everyone was saying about the odd torso. The hemline of the skirt is so interesting, but heavy. The heavy weight of the skirt pulls on the lighter weight of the top and makes it stretch and distort. I am a seamstress, so I opted to take in the waist a little bit to give me my desired fit. Once I took in the dress, I could not take it off!! I lovee the little changes i made to the fit because they really made all the difference, and showcased my waistline. Since I took in the waist, the skirt flared out beautifully to give me a great hourglass shape.. The length was wonderful and hit me a little under mid-thigh. Granted, most people do not want to pay $250 for a ready to wear dress they need to alter, but for me it made it even more special."

"This dress could have been a total winner and a fp must have but a few flaws ruined it for me. First of all, the dress is not ivory as pictured; it is a muddy beige. The detailing and beadwork on the top is absolutely brilliant, but from the chest down the dress kind of just dies slowly and painfully. The torso is so unflattering. It was the worst part because the top is gorgeous. The waist is made for someone without any hips whatsoever. For a curvy body, or even a slightly hourglass shape, this dress won't work. I ordered my normal size 10 to fit my chest but the chest was too tight and the torso was horrible. Also, the tiered bottom looks amazing in the pictures but is ridiculously uneven in person. One side opened up all wrong because the slip is way too short. I was so excited for this dress and am incredibly disappointed that it didn't work out. Also, there is no way that it is worth $248. I considered taking it in for alterations but didn't want to pay so much for the dress. I really don't know if sewing a ribbon in the back would have done the trick as another reviewer said because of the torso area needs to be lessened in more than one area. With the craftsmanship so off, I wouldn't pay more than $160 for it. Wait for it to go on sale then if you are very slender or have a straight body shape go for it."

"I loved this dress looking at the online pictures, but the fit is all wrong. at work,alot of customers have complained abotu how loose the torso is :/ i tried it on and was very upset with the results. if you are smaller-dhested I am sure it will look great, so the torso might fit better, but I am bigger busted and it was not a good fit unfortunately."
