"I tried these shorts in several sizes and simply could not get them to work. I definitely have a butt and hips and the shorts looked frumpy, tight, and strange over all the areas. Yet, they flared out awkwardly around my thighs. I don't know... We were just not meant to be. I also found the light wash denim to be yellow-y. I didn't like how it looked on my skin. If you have small hips these will probably fit you well. Just not for everyone."

"These shorts are perfect on me. I'm extremely petite and have such a hard time finding pants or shorts. For me the shorts are as short as they could be without being risque. In the picture, they look like they'd be longer. It worked out for me, so I'm very happy. I suppose it's possible the pair I received was cut a bit shorter."

"I am 5'4", curvy at 180 lbs and ordered the size 31. Love these already. Just got them today and they fit very well. Little stiff...I'll have to wear them in. Love the high rise. Some of the destroyed threading I had to cut bc they were a bit long...but that's alright! I'm just so glad to have jean shorts ordered online fit on the first try! Very pleased."

"I've been searching for a new pair of cut offs in a darker wash. The color of these in person is just as pictured and the fit is fine. However, like the previous reviewer, I also received a pair that had jacked up cuts in the back. It doesn't look good at all and because of this the one side is significantly shorter than the other. Therefore these cut offs are going back. Now I just can't decide if I should try ordering another pair in hopes that the cuts in the back with be okay or if I should just order a different style..."

"I LOVED the idea of these shorts and I liked how they sagged somewhat, however, the back of the shorts look like someone took scissors to them and cut them weirdly. It's too bad because the colors are great and I loved the fit! Sadly, I will be returning these."

"I bought these looking for a comfortable pair of denim shorts with the perfect amount of fraying. These are amazing shorts that I probably won't take off this summer. They don't ride up in the crotch area, although they are a bit larger in the waist area so you might want to size down 1 size. Great lenghth-not too short, cute slit on the side."
