i find this dress so unique! it has an attached slip, and the outer layer is the embellished lattice. it feels very heavy when i took it out of the bag, but i actually don't feel weighed down when i'm wearing it. i got my regular size, and it's a bit loose, so i'd suggest sizing down which should also offer a better silhouette. the elastic waist fits where it's supposed to be, and at 5'3", it's a little longer on me, with the bottom around my mid-calf. there was a loose bead when i receive it, but i don't think any came loose after a whole day of wearing. i did feel the beads a bit after sitting on my bum for a long time, but it wasn't super uncomfortable.

I ordered an XS for this dress as I normally do with Free People's clothes. But this one fits really awkwardly. I am 5'2 and 100 lbs and I understand when dresses run long to me since I'm short. But this dress does not only run long, but loose. It does not have a zipper by the side, so after i put it on, the waist line which should be just above your bellybutton is already around my hip. I dont know if they tagged the dress with the wrong size or what else happened that caused this, but it's definitely better to try it on in a store just in case cuz it's a really expensive dress.
