these pants are awesome!!! definitely had to cut a few inches off of the bottom like all other fp pants.. 5'4 100lbs and the 24's fit great!

I was so worried about sizing as this is my first purchase. Size 25 fit me perfectly although I probably can squeeze into a 24. I'm not sure how this will hold up after wash.
I'm 1.73 m tall and I need to put on 5 inch heels so the hem of the pants would not be sweeping the floor.
The raw frayed edges are some sort of a design so I'm not sure if you will lose that detail if you decide to alter it shorter.
I usually wear EUR34 for long bottoms if I want a snug fit.
Rated 5 out of 5Â by masseraj I'm on my 3rd pair - white this time
I was so excited when these came out in white. I already own the dark and light blue versions of this. I have to say that the white is way better in person. It actually is not white but more of a cream color and mine has accents of blue around the hem, fly and waist band. That doesn't seem to be the case in the picture. As usual they fit great however they are a little shorter this time around. I'm 5'9". So if you are any taller then that they might look funny in length on you. They seem to fit just perfect for me though. I do have to agree with one of the other reviewers that they do shrink. I accidentally dried my light blue pair and found this out. However when I let my dark pair air dry they retained their perfect fit. Also in this picture it looks like they starched and ironed what the model is wearing. The fabric is a lighter weight material that is really soft. Perfect for summer.

I absolutely love these when i saw them in the catalog and finally got one during the fall. I had to get them hemmed because I'm 5'1". I got the size 24 (I wear a 0, 00) and the waist fitted me perfectly. After I washed them and dried them, it shrunk so badly that I couldn't zip them up. I was sad, but was determined to order another pair. This time I got the size 25. I washed it in cold water and line dried it. It shrunk both in the waist and in length, but I could still zip it up and because I didn't remove all the extra fabric completely from the hem, I could lengthen it still. Thank goodness that the casher was kind enough to allow me to return the first pair, otherwise, I would've been pretty disappointed with Free People. I am going to get another one, this time, I think I'm going for size 26, so I can wear it a bit looser on the waist.

I was waiting to get these until I lost all the baby weight and when I finally lost enough to get the 31 they were sold out!!! When they came back with the darker color I jumped right on them and so glad I was forced to wait. I love the darker color more than the original ones. I think I may order another pair!

These get looks and comments even by men. They've commented how they appreciate the 60's and 70's era clothing, in particular, how the wide leg jean is coming back. I really like these pants n wear them a lot. I sized down and still is a little baggy in the rear. Also, not good to run in. You will trip. The bell shaped pant legs got caught often and I stepped on them too. Other than that their fun and great.

I finally have my pair in the orignal light blue.. I'm 5'4, slender, size 4 at any other store except FP. I went to my local FP shop and tried on the new blue in these pants in a size 27. Too tight. Then a 28 which road high on my stomach and squeezed. I also tried on the high rise and and since there seemed to be no difference I went with those. But knowing that wasn't what I had wanted and the high rise didn't do a thing for my booty I returned them and went to another store. They had the oringinals and I found my fit at a 29. the 27 was still to tight and mashed my rear so did the 28 although they fit loosely and hung nicely on the hip. So I went up another size which also hung well on the hips, there would be room to shrink, and they were cute on my booty. I haven't decided what to do about the length. I am reluctant to cut the length to my size (about a 33 inseam ) so I'm considering buying a pair of 61/2 inche Jeffrey Campbells.
