All over tiered ruffle maxi skirt. In between each ruffle tier is a more slightly sheer stretchy fabric. This skirt should be worn with a slip underneath for more coverage. Back is longer and pointed at the bottom. Waist band is stretchy with ruffled trimming. Dramatic and striking, but still with a casual, everyday feel.

I finally bit the bullet and bought it last week and I have to say that it is amazing. Just like all the other folks are saying: it runs big. I'm 5'9" and I ordered the small & the medium to to be sure. The medium had way to much fabric (so it was heavier) and the wasteband fell down on me. So much so, I thought maybe I'd return. BUT then I put on the small: the small fit like a glove: easy to move in and sits nicely on my hips. Super cute with a tank, chunky necklace! This skirt is a statement piece. Elegant but funky and, in fear that I sound nerdy, I feel so cool in it! I will be wearing it for years to come. I am so SO glad I bought it. 5.11.2013

I thought" not again" im going to have to alter everything because i dont want to send it back! ok close inspection ladies , the ruffle is actually fused into the main fabric, probably woven into it so "no seams" soooo that means I can actually alter the length. Anyone thinking of doing this you should do it "gradually" so you dont loose the effect of the skirt if your not confident take it to a dress maker. The bussle thing in the back has on the inside two :ties" I would probably add one perhaps higher for a dramatic effect, lets face it you paid a lot of money and love this skirt you dont want to drag and clean the streets while your out. Now if you are a small at FP or down at least two sizes down im a med and got a small and i reckon I could have gone a size lower xs. The elastic wide black waistband is not withstanding the weight of this skirt so it will need something to hold it up like a belt. as im walking i find that its keeps wanting to "drop" but dont dismay a belt will solve your problems. It is overall a beautiful skirt , its sooo unique and with boots , a denim jacket , black T its bold and beautiful. 5.3.2013

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Dixie Stunning I got this skirt in the black version, a nice muted black. It is incredible, the ruffles are fabulous, the flow of the skirt is beautiful. It is a heavier skirt and will have to wait for next winter for me since I live in the desert and we are heating up. I am short so this skirt is really long on me, but my tailor is going to make the length perfection for me. This skirt is really something special. 5.2.2013

Rated 5 out of 5Â by tilo Perfection Adorable. ordered a small...i am 5"8 132 lbs and it fits perfectly....a bit long but can wear platform embellished biker boots ( Vera Wang) with a t shirt and vest...i ordered this vest but it was damaged so will try another shot at it. I ordered the washed black also which describes it well as it is a faded black a really pretty. 4.29.2013

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Stegosaurus Wow, a train! I bought this skirt in charcoal in the FP store, they only had one left! So glad I found it. I'm 5'10" and slender and the XS was perfect. It grazes the ground with flats on and the train at the back is substantial. I have dressed this down with a casual tank and I love the look. 4.29.2013

Im 5'9 140 34B. I bought the grey charcoal and it is lovely. I caressed the floor. This skirt is def for the taller girls. In love. A staple. Can wear with almost anything!. 4.27.2013

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Eclaire cool skirt I ordered this skirt in the charcoal color; I am not even 5 feet tall, so I had to get the XS. It was extremely long, but so unique and artistic that I just couldn't bear the thought of returning it. I have to roll it up a couple of times or wear high heels so it won't drag, but the ruffles really give it some personality. It looks best when paired with a tight top like one of the long sleeved tight bodycon tops under "Intimates." Or, a nice tank; probably a cropped t-shirt would look great with it too. My only real gripe is that it is 75% polyester, a fabric that I am not a fan of, but had to make an exception this one time in favor of the skirt's artistry. I liked it so much I ordered the pebble color just recently. 4.25.2013

I cannot wait to wear it!! I think the length is fine - I am 5'6 and ordered a small - so its perfect. 4.25.2013
