I bought this item b/c it was on sale and really wanted the mustard color but all that was available at the time was the lavender color. It was a bit disappointing as I thought that it would have come with the sheer undergarment as the model is wearing. I noticed that in all pictures with all three colors there is what seems to be a cami underneath it and it appears as the same color as the top it self. Well when it arrived it was just a top without the layered piece. I guess I was deceived into thinking that it would come as pictured. Just know if you decide to purchase this piece that you will need to put something under it, as it is very very sheer. The fabric is gauzy but nice. It does not feel itchy, but stretchable. I ordered the xs because it does stretch abit. I am only 110pd and size 2 or 4 depending on the designer from FP. But a nice top indeed. Get one if you can. I plan on buying the mustard colored one for fall when it returns back to stock. So I am giving it three stars only b/c in the written details in it did not include rather it had the layering piece attached to it.... Sorry

I'm really excited about this top, because it's going to be great for laying with so many things. I plan on wearing it over cami's or under strapless dresses to make them a bit more conservative. I got the soft pink, the color actually leans in between a soft pink and a soft lilac color which I am happy with. I read the other reviews saying it ran small and since I'm usually between a XS and S I got small. Now having it in my possession I like the fit of the S, but the XS probably would have fit too. It just would have been a different look. It's soft but since it's 50% wool it is a little scratchy, but not uncomfortable. The wool also makes it a warmer shirt then it looks. Worth the $20 : )

The reviewer who compared this top to tissue paper wasn't kidding! The title is quite accurate--this is basically gauze. It has a bit tighter weave than cheesecloth. However, it's quite beautiful in an ethereal sort of way, and it will be a great layering piece. I got the purple, and it's a lovely lilac color. You may not be able to tell from the picture, but it *is* sort of hemmed. Sort of. It will unravel a bit at the edges, but it looks like it should stop after about 1/4 inch if they designed it right. Since this IS basically gauze, it is very delicate, so maybe don't wear any snag-prone jewelry with this one. The sleeves are nice and long, which I appreciate as a tall gal, and the body goes all the way down to my hips... but I have a sneaking suspicion it will shrink a lot when I finally (hand!) wash it. If you really like this sort of look, I'd definitely go for it, but if you're undecided or indifferent, maybe get something a bit less delicate.

I bought this online on a whim on sale, looking for sheer long sleeved shirts. I got the sage colour, but it is actually slightly more olive in person. I think it is the perfect layering piece! It is comfy, tight and form fitting, and the colour is beautiful and looks expensive. Even though the shirt is simple I think the gauze material makes it unique. I'm 5'3", 105 lbs., 34B and got the size S, which is fairly tight but I feel like it will stretch a little with wear. This would be great layered with all the corset type bras FP has!

Great mustard color and sheer material. However, the top ran really small. I generally wear Freepeople small or medium depends on the style. I bought this in Medium but it was very tight. I had to size up to Large. Besides, the sleeves and body of the top are long too! I love the color and quality but it did not work for me.

I agree with the other reviews I like this top but don't absolutely love it. It feels nice on my skin and looks very cute with a tank top underneath. I bought the pink and went up a size and was glad I did. I usually wear a size small and got the medium and it fits perfectly. I am 135lbs and 34B. The only reason I knocked it down a star is because the material on the collar, sleeves and bottom is starting to unravel a little bit after wearing it one time. Also it is very easily snagged so be careful. Other than that I am happy with my purchase.

This is nice. I bought in the white color and wore it out one night with a tank underneath. It's nice, I like it, but I wouldn't say I LOVE it. It doesn't seem to cheap or flimsy to me, that's the style of it. Sheer & gauzy.

I bought this top as a layering piece to wear underneath a tunic, but it's dressy enough to wear on its own with a contrasting camisole or sexy bra underneath. I love the fabric and the tight fit--caution: the sleeves fit skin tight so if you're not comfortable with this kind of fit, size up. I love the neckline and the raw edge. Wish it comes in black!
