Rated 3 out of 5Â by fiiimac Ehhh... I was pretty underwhelmed by this dress. Thinking it would be an easy yes, I threw the Ivory colour in with an order a while back, but I was disappointed with what arrived. First of all, it's quite see-through, particularly in the bust area, meaning you're rather bullied into wearing a bra with it, which isn't really necessary for some cup sizes otherwise. Also, I really disliked the straps. They definitely brought the quality of the dress down and made it look a fair bit cheaper. (I know $100 is inexpensive for FP, but really, it's not that inexpensive, is it?) And lastly, the empire arced up in a weird way in the front (see picture). It could have been because the fabric was rather thin that it pulled so much on my ribcage, but not enough to require a size up; just enough to look slightly awkward. Oh well. (For the record, I am about 125 lbs, 32D and bought my usual XS.) 5.19.2013

The wonderful thing about this dress is that it is so versatile and wearable. It can be dressed up or down. I am planning on wearing it under my gown for graduation :) thank you FP! 4.9.2013

Rated 4 out of 5Â by HanaBanana near perfect! this dress is stunning! i bought the lilac one and it's perfect. the dress is more purple in real life than in pictures, but this it to your advantage, because it's such a pretty color! the waist fits a little loose on my body, but i paired the dress with a simple braided belt and it fixed that problem. i can't wait to wear it to my school dance! 4.4.2013

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Kayley Christmas, NYE & Birthday Dress Yes, I have worn this dress for all occasions. I am really pale, so I didn't think that I could pull off the ivory colour, but I was wrong! I received it as a gift before Christmas (to wear for the holiday) and it really flatters my skin tone after all. It's comfortable, shiny without being tacky at all and is just a really stunning piece. I wish the straps were a bit more interesting, but no other complaints. Well worth the price for how much use I've gotten out of it! 3.28.2013

I ordered a large without giving it much thought, and it could not have turned out to be more perfect. The material is actually soft and stretchy, so comfortable and perfect for anything! The bottom of the dress felt cheap though, and the bottom of the dress was not even hemmed, just cut right off. It was not the most flattering though either. I'd never shopped at Free People before, and I when I saw the dress worn by Lea Michele on Glee, I just knew I had to find it! I ended up getting the lilac version of this dress. It is a little more lilac than the picture suggests, but this is only a good thing! The silver bottom of the dress is vibrant and stunningly eye catching. When I put this dress on, I felt really girly and pretty. I wear a 34F bra size and was worried the medium might be too tight. I was wrong! When I put it on, I was suprised at the high quality material that clings in all the right places and flares over the bits I don't like! For reference I'm 20 years old, my waist is 29 inches and my hips are 39 inches, and I'm 5"5, and the medium fits great and is reallt flattering! Will definetely buy from Free People again and I really recommend this dress if you have an hourglass/ top heavy figure like me! 2.22.2013
