"I find JC shoes to run narrow enough that I routinely order a full size larger when ordering JC shoes. These are narrow even for JC shoes. I'm typically a 6 or 6.5. I buy JC shoes in a 7 or 7.5 (depending on the type of shoe). It would've taken an 8 at least for the shoe to be wide enough. Lesson: If you've never ordered JC, go up a full size and a half. If you have a "usual" JC shoe size, add .5 to 1 full size to that. (Unless you have an abnormally narrow foot, width is the issue with these shoes.) Otherwise, these are FABULOUS and super cute."

"I found these to fit perfect. After reviewing other peoples comments, I took it upon myself to order a size up and they fit perfect!! I normally wear a size 7.5 and ordered an 8. Couldn't be happier!!"

"I am a size 8.5 so I ordered a 9, opting to go up rather than down after reading others reviews. They ended up being too loose on me, so i find that they run true to size (if only they had half sizes). The knit shaft was also very loose, and I have a wide calf, so unfortunately I had to return them. The knit kept falling until I was worried that I would trip on it, and this was just around the living room. If you want something very slouchy this boot is for you though."

"I'm normally a size 8.5. Based on the reviews I ordered a 10. They fit snug in the toe box but loose in the heel. I thought if I wore thicker socks I could fill in the space. I got tons of compliments but didnt feel steady walking in them. Sad to say I ended up loosing balance and falling. I love these boots so I will make them work. Maybe even thicker socks. I did end up ordering the brown in 9. Hopefully they will work out better"
