"i bought this in brown in my usual xs, the fit is just perfect and it is a great fall layering piece. i sort of feel like a gypsy. i think it looks great either open or buttoned a little or buttoned all the way. it took me a little while to get used to the very high back, but i do like it. the pattern and texture is great, everything about this is cute. this is very flattering and form-fitting, i recommend it to anyone!"

"The first seven reviews are right on target. I am 5'8", 130 lbs., 34C and the medium skims the body perfectly but is not tight or stretched looking. I wear the neckline a bit wider than shown (reference close up of model in brown--the shoulder seam is up on her collar bone). The sleeves are super long in a good way. The fabric is stretchier than I imagined (except front "tuxedo bib" which is woven cotton), color and length are as pictured, and note that the back is very short --about five inches above the back of low rise jeans and 2 to 3 inches above high waisted pants and skirts. The all over roses and leaves pattern in the Driftwood Brown is actually a bit sheer if you hold it up to the light, but not an issue once it is on. I will be wearing it with something underneath, though, because of the short back and because there is a very narrow but open vertical lattice (what the description notes as "faux lace up detailing") the length of the back. You gals that like to show a little skin will love wearing this alone. I have layered it with FP layering pieces and sleeveless tops. It feels soft, has a VERY flattering silhouette from all angles and is a very versatile, casual piece."

"Such a pretty top. I'm 5'4 118lbs 34B and I got xs. Should have gotten small though, it's a little tight when it's buttoned, and I can't button it up over my bust like the model shows. Still looks great partially buttoned/unbuttoned."

"I have had my eye on this top for a while and i finally got it. I bought the brown color and it is so gorgeous. The flower details are beautiful. This is an amazing piece for layering. I have created so many outfits with this top! And I have received many complements. I will be ordering it in the other color asap! It is tight all around, so if you are larger in the bust area i would definitely size up. Free People has really done it again with this top!! So cute."

"I love this shirt! The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I think it would be even cuter if the back was not cropped and just had a regular shirt tail. What you can't tell very well from this picture is that the buttons are slightly different colors which is very cute and also the material is a soft t-shirt type of material with a very faint floral pattern on it that can't really be seen from these pictures. I guess you can kind of see it in the close-up, but I don't see a close-up picture of the cuffs which have stitching on them just like the stitching that goes up the back of the shirt. A very adorable shirt and it looks so much better in person. The fit is TTS."

"I fell in love with this top the minute it appeared on the site. It's a little pricey, but worth it -- I sized up to a large, given that I hate that gappy look you sometimes get with a buttondown shirt that's stubborn about closing over your bust. I definitely did the right thing; the cutaway waist ended up being incredibly flattering, and the front fits the way it fits on the model. I love the latticework on the back and on the sleeves, and the roses, and... pretty much everything. Such a romantic, unique design. The driftwood colour is more of an olive-y brown than a true brown, but I don't mind that at all."

"I bought this in the brown color since I felt the flower pattern was more noticeable. This is a super cute piece and I love the unique touches to the cuffs and the cropped back. This does run a little smaller than other FP tops so I would size up, especially if you're more curvy on top like me (36DD), it also runs a little tight in the arms as well. This top goes great with anything, open as a cardigan or even layered with cute tank tops... the perfect transition from summer to fall!"
