"This awesome coat is best on shorter girls so it will hang maximally long. My daughter is 5'3" and 110 lbs: the size 2 fit with room for layering sweaters under. It is unlined wool, so you should buy it a little loose for layering in cold climes. Fabric and construction are Quality. I have a similar shorter boiled wool unlined coat that I got from Anthropologie a couple years ago and Love. All these buttons! I wanted one for me too, but budget did not allow :)"

"I usually wear size 4-6 but I got a size 8, that was the only one they had in the store and I love it. I wouldn't say it is a Coat though, it only has lining in the top of the back. Size up to feel comfortable! The length is perfect and the sleeves are gorgeous..what can I say- FREE PEOPLE!

"I LOVE THIS JACKET. The fit is flattering, the details are wonderful, its comfortable and warm and GORGEOUS. I am 5' 3" and 120 lbs, 32C and usually wear a size 2-4. I opted for the size 2. I tried it on while wearing nothing but a tank and leggings. it fit LIKE A GLOVE. It fit perfectly. It fit like a stretchy tshirt (again, PERFECTLY). However, i dont intend to wear only tanks and leggings under it, so I'm exchanging it for a size 4 instead. I was concerned it would be too long on me, because I'm short, but it wasn't. It's longer in the back than in the front, and in the back I still had about 10-12" between the jacket and the ground.

"I just purchased this coat at the Free People store in town and I LOVE it. It's well taylored and drapes beautifully. I'm 5"6" and 125 lbs, and I found it ran kind of small. If you plan on wearing a thin sweater or anything other than a tshirt underneath, you may want to size up. I wore it last weekend with a pair of skinny jeans and boots - but you could definitely dress it up as well. A very unique coat."

"I knew I wouldn't be disappointed... but I didn't realize how absolutely beautiful this coat would be in person! I've always wanted a victorian coat and it's something that's very hard to find! It's a heavier wool material than I'd thought so I can't quite wear it in Florida just yet, but I can't wait! The detail around the empire waist and sleeves and neckline is very feminine and adds a beautiful contrast to the fabric. It's lined with a flower fabric that's very reminiscent of early 1990's patterns. I'm 5'7, 145 and the 10 is a little big but I'll be able to layer under it when (if) the weather allows :) Simply... absolutely perfect!"

"This is an unique, and wonderful coat. It is very flattering, and fits beautifully. I love the flared sleeves and the asymmetrical hem. The only "issue" I have with this coat is that it might not be warm enough for the coldest days of winter - other than that it's great. Btw - the floral lining is a really cute touch."

"I was surprised to see the fabric of the coat called, "cheap," or that it wrinkles easily. I kept it in the bag for two days after I bought it and it came out unwrinkled. It's not heavy enough to wear when it's really cold, but for an unlined coat, it was surprisingly heavy. I think it runs small - I'm always a 0, but I found the 2 fit perfectly and wound up buying the four so I could put a (light) sweater under it. It's the band around the ribs that's tight, but that's what gives it such a lovely silhouette. It's a striking coat that will draw lots of compliments."

"Great stylish flow with the longer back hemline. Drapes beautifully and is warm enough but not bulky. Sleek, dress-like fit when buttoned, showing a waistline. Also looks great worn open. Love it!"
