"This jacket is so pretty and true to size. A 6 was perfect in the chest and I am a 36 c. The material is a thick durable tweed like material. The cut is very flattering and I imagine would be flattering on just about any shape. Really pretty. Great buy on sale."

"I just received mine in the mail today and it's incredibly nice. It will be perfect as it warms up to throw on before heading out the door, and even for now it seemed decently warm. I tried on the more teal colored version of this at a dept. store recently in a 10 and it fit great, so I was nervous about ordering a 12. I decided to after reading the reviews that it fit tightly. Even though the jackets look the same, this one definitely fits a size smaller, but that worked out well for me! 4 stars because yes -- it doesn't have the flap/slit in the back, though that's really not a huge issue."

"*Missing Flap in back* This isn't a big letdown but the slit would have definitely been cute. :/ This always seems to happen with Free People clothing. I wonder why. The sleeves are definitely fitted but not tight. The jacket itself is warm. The button details on the sleeves are super cute. I would have rated this 5 stars were it not for the missing slit/flap in the back."

"I just received this jacket, and couldn't be happier. Anyone who has seen me wear this piece has stopped me and complimented it and wanted to know where I purchased it! Especially since this has gone on sale, you'd be crazy not to buy it at the sale price. It's nicely lined so its not itchy, but the jacket is more for spring/fall use when it is not very cold since you wouldn't be able to fit a sweatshirt underneath this. Very trendy piece! I paired this jacket with the bandana scarf in blue...very cute!"

"Generally I am a size 0-2 or XS-S in most stores so normally I would have bought a size 0 in this jacket because I like a good snug fit. However, after reading a few of the reviews I decided to buy a size 2 since most people said it fit small.
I just received the jacket in the mail and absolutely adore it! It is well made, has a satin lining in the sleeves and a jersey type lining in the body so you don't get itchy from the outer tweed (which is so chic!). The sleeves are very fitted. I think the model in the picture would be wearing a size 0.
When you do up the clasps in the front, the body of the jacket is loose, I'm assuming they meant if to be that way. I'm thinking I will probably wear it mainly open since I like the way that it falls that way.
If you live in a warmer area and only plan on wearing a t-shirt or thin longsleeve under your jacket, you could get away with your true size. However, if you are from somewhere a little colder like me (Kelowna, BC, Canada) and plan on wearing a knit underneath the jacket, I would order a size up.
This jacket would look great with anything from a graphic t to a plaid button up to a dressy top! I plan to wear it with boots, clogs and flats since it is so versatile!"
