"the shoe part fits true to size, even a bit roomy. the color is more dark olive in person, not really brownish as pictured. the heel is pretty good and sturdy, and doesn't feel like i'm walking on stilts. the leather is super super soft. and now the issue: the shaft is super tight. for reference, i don't have issue with jc's romana fest sandals, joe lace up boots or frye's stone wash slouch boots, but these, i could not zip them up. the good part is that the leather is stretchy, so i could actually pull the boots up with them fully zipped with a bit of effort. and they probably will stretch out over time. the height of the shaft is actually also too high for me (5'3") so i need to wear them a bit crumpled at the ankle so that they're shorter and i could actually walk in them without the top constantly hitting the back of my knees. i actually really do like them, but i took one star off for the ill fit."
