Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Comfortable & so Versatile!! I am usually not a carigan person, at all, but this one is awesome!! I ordered this lovely Cardi in taupe last month.... I love the color, how it's so soft, and adore the draping pockets & high low unfinished hem. The best thing is that it is such a versatile piece: It can be worn open over your clothing, as a dress, with a waist belt, as well as under a sweater or vest. I am 5'6.5 33-24-35 111 lbs, and wear the XS. The waist is pretty loose, the sleeves are very fitted, and the color is true to the FP catalog images ... it actually fits me exactly like the model on the editorial beach photo. My favorite way to wear it is: as a dress with a faux fur vest, FP tall socks & boots. *see photos* My socks in the photo are the FP Speckled Spun Tall Sock in ivory. 12.9.2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Versatile, Wearable, Comfortable, Fab! I think the last reviewer missed the point of this cardi.... it's supposed to be slightly unfinished and carefree. That's the point! To feel effortless and breezy. To me, the unfinished hem is one of my favorite features... it actually accents that California cool feel. That being said, I don't find the fabric "cheap" at all. Again, they missed the point. It's meant to be lightweight and airy. You can throw it on and layer it all four seasons of the year. That's why I love it so much, especially living in "griddle an egg on the sidewalk" Texas. In fact, because it is so lightweight, I was really concerned that it would easily lose it's shape.. I have a tendency to run my favorite items into the ground. I've worn this thing obsessively.. rolling sleeves up, down, folding them... worn it as a layer, as a dress... no matter what I do, the fabric pulls back and retains its shape... which in such expensive products is a big concern.. you want longevity. In the six months or so that I've owned this, I have probably gotten a year or two's worth of wear out of it, and I'm tempted to repurchase it in the same colors I already own just in case they stop producing it! Ha. Also: I work as a fashion photographer, and I have consistently received compliments from stylists, models, and art directors about this cardigan. I think because it is so lightweight it seems to "go" with so many more things than some of my heavier cardigans. It's just such a breezy layer. And I've found that it looks great with jeans and a vintage t, with sundresses, with maxi dresses, with leggings... even as it's own dress (albeit with a layer because its too sheer otherwise. This is one of the most versatile pieces of clothing I've bought. It just adds such an effortless cool to so many outfits and it's so comfy. If you want something that looks great but like you "aren't trying"... then get this. Super versatile. Lightweight. I love the flutteryness of that fishtail hem. 1.27.2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Couldn't love it more I really couldn't love this cardigan more if I tried. It's so comfortable and flattering!! I bought this size small in the taupe colour (I'm 5'10 and roughly 135 pounds) and it fits perfectly. The sleeves are the perfect length and you can wear a long sleeve top underneath without it looking bulky. It's quite long at the back so if you're shorter it may go quite close to the ground. This cardigan is perfect for those not too warm days. I bought the navy colour and am anxiously waiting for it's delivery!!! 10.28.2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Yay, it's not too long for us short girls!! This cardi is soooo freaking comfortable and absoutely adorable on. I got the navy color and was very happy that as a girl who is barely 5'4" it did not hit the floor. Don't get me wrong- the draped back is definitely on the long side, but totally doable for us shorties. I only wish FP would start making their beautiful long dresses and skirts to fit us too! 3.1.2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by I would LOVE more and richer colors! I have this in ivory( oatmeal to me), gray and peach oh... and light blue. I do not love any of the colors at all but I get SO many compliments when I wear them!!!! I would LOVE a black or mossy green or any rich color. I would buy them all and wear them the rest of my life!!! 2.26.2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! Perfect for busty petite! I ordered the XS (5 ft, 126 lbs, 34DD). It fits perfectly! the arms were not tight at all. I can still button it over my chest. My favorite purchase and I want more colors. The pockets are annoying but not a deal breaker. The length on me is perfect for a near duster. No need to hem anything. I love that its thin enough to wear but not see through and still keeps me warm in cool weather or an overly air conditioned office. Buy it! 12.26.2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good wardrobe staple. I am 167cms, 35 inch or 88cm bust, 55kg or 123 pounds. Xs or small in tops, 26/27 inch in jeans and 2 in dresses. Purchased this in a small, thank god I did not purchase the medium as I thought. Pockets sit right on the hips so add a bit of width there nothing to drastic though. Great length and the colour Cranberry is as pictured. As others have mentioned this will not keep you warm however will be a great layering piece. Will most certainly purchase another colour. No problems with tightness in the sleeves. 12.19.2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by BLAH I received the cardigan in the mail yesterday without ever seeing it in the store...and I just couldnt get excited about it! I am a FPaholic..and this is the first item I have ever returned. I see 104 reviews of other people who love it...I just felt frumpy in it and it was way thinner than I had anticipated. I live in Canada and was hoping it would provide a bit of warmth...but it is definetely a summer sweater. I took it to the store and exchanged it for something I knew I would wear and not just hang in the back of my closet... 10.23.2013
