It's a great stylish jacket, and very comfortable. I got sand color, it has a beautiful floral lining. They didn't have my usual xs at the store, and that was lucky for me. I tried small instead and liked it, the jacket is much better when hanging on you loosely. But -- attention please! Even though I have more than enough room, middle back button ripped the fabric out. It was attached to one layer of fabric only. Now I'm going to put a piece of sturdy material inside and sew it on all around the hole...

The dilemma for me was whether to get this as outerwear or more of an indoor jacket since I'm moving away from sweaters. Turns out I'm using it both ways. I'm a 4 with small chest and broad shoulders and got the small, thinking a little extra room would work better with layers. The small was very loose and baggy, like army surplus....not a bad look but I thought all the great details, especially the buttoned back pleat, deserved a different proportion so I replaced with extra small and it's perfect. Yes, the sleeves have a narrow construction compared to the boxiness of the body but I can still comfortably get two thin layers of wool in there. The jacket looks great zipped or open. It's very much an olive, not brown, with faded olive trim. Though not a toasty jacket for winter, the lining helps as insulation. I'm really happy with it.

The only good thing about cooler weather approaching is this jacket! It's soft, drapes nicely and has a slightly-washed out, lived-in look to it. I generally buy medium or small, when it comes to FP clothing, but got this in a large, because the sleeves are quite fitted. Lots of room for layering, and I found it hangs longer than what is pictured. This will be a staple in my fall wardrobe, for sure.

I loved this jacket online and it was adorable in person as well and looks exactly the way it does online. I usually wear a size small or XS so I first ordered the jacket in a small and it was WAY too big so I exchanged it for an XS and it was still just too big...I tried layering it and wearing it different ways, but it just looked frumpy and unflattering. I am very sad because it is so cute....just way too big!

Love this jacket.! It does run big, but if you plan to layer, its great. The color is true to the photo online. Looks wonderful with jeans and dresses. Wishing for the cream color to be back in stock.

I love this coat. I'm normally an xs-small in FP clothes. I ordered an xs but it didn't seem like there was enough room if I were to wear a heavy sweater for winter. I ended up getting the small instead and it's perfect. I'm 5 6" 110lbs 34 b for reference. I could of gone both sizes and been just fine though. I've read on other websites that this coat runs large but in my opinion, I think it's TTS. I bought the olive and it's as photographed. Very well-made and beautiful.

I recently purchased this jacket with fall weather in mind. It's lighter than a winter coat, but I ended up purchasing it with some extra room for layering. I absolutely love it! I am normally a size small/medium in free people and ended up going with the medium so I could layer it over sweaters. I have long arms and the sleeves fit perfect. I also have broad shoulders, so I think that going up a size helped with that problem. The sleeves are fitted but the body of the jacket is loose. I was worried about this part looking too big in the size up, but there wasn't much of a difference. It has an oversized look similar to the photo.

I am officially a FP jacket junkie, and this one does not disappoint. I was worried that a Small may be too tight because I have broad muscular shoulders, and it was a bit tight, but realized I can unbutton those back buttons and voila. I have more room. The only thing I would change is if there was a little stretch in there. The wrists are a bit tight but it's cotton canvas, so it will stretch over time. I wouldn't be able to wear heavy layers under this, but I never do anyway. 34c for reference but w/ very broad shoulders and I got the small. LOVE the styling of this. Definitely keeping! Keep bringing on the great styles FP. This one is a keeper.
