"Hi, I am interested in the vintage Chanel necklace # 24405193. I'm curious how heavy it is. I know some that I have had have been rather heavy, but they had one big pendant/medallion on them. "Hello, it is not extremely heavy, but does have some weight due to the thickness of the chain. We don't have any other photos of this item, as it is currently packed for shipping in our warehouse, but the chain length is 32". Hope this helps! "

"I have a Chanel necklace or belt(?) with the signature and it is 70 inches long. It has cabachon amethyst interspersed with inches of chain. How can I tell if it is a belt or a necklace?"

"Hi, Between the mid 1980s and the early 1990s, rather than date Jewelery pieces with a season and year (Spring 1987, Fall 1988 etc) Chanel used a numbering date system. This necklace is from the Victoire de Castellane era in which this system of dating was used. Hope this helps. "
