"1. Is there anything thing that validates the timeframe (i.e. 1920's)? 2. I am interested in the piece but am concerned about the quality of wood/frame. My intent would be to hang it so the wood would need to support a pretty heavy duty mount of some kind. 3. It states there is no return policy; that is of course contingent on no damage during shipping, correct? 4. The window has been posted for some years now; has the price ever been reduced. Thanks in advance. It is a really nice find."

Our buyer was advised upon purchasing this piece that the window dates to the 1920s.
The wood is sturdy for its age and we believe it could support its own weight, but recommend consulting with a professional builder or contractor to determine the best way to hang it in your home since building materials in your home would determine the best way to hang this piece.
We stand by our products and this window will be shipped with care. Please carefully review all images and description before making your final decision to purchase, as the window has some wear and tear now along teh wood and seams. If you have any other questions before purchasing we'd be happy to help answer them. Hope this helps! "

"What is the width of the wooden strips around the glass?"
Vintage Loves at 4:22 PM on 12/12/11
"Hello, The wooden frame is 2" most of the way around the glass. Because of some of the age wear, there is one side (right side in the photo) where the edge is 1 1/2" in some areas. Generally it is 2" at its widest point and 1 1/2" at its smallest. Hope this helps! "
