Physical Gift Cards

Physical gift cards will be mailed to the gift recipient via US Postal Service First Class Mail and are issued in US dollars. Please allow seven business days for delivery. We are able to expedite Gift Cards for an additional charge.

We are unable to send expedited Gift Cards to a P.O. Box, Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, Canada or APO/FPO addresses.

E-Gift Cards

E-gift cards are sent to your selected recipient via email within minutes of being ordered. You will receive an email confirmation that the e-gift card was sent.


Where can I redeem a website-issued gift card?

FreePeople.com issued Gift Cards are redeemable online for web orders, through our catalog or in any of our Free People or We the Free stores.

Where can I redeem a store-issued gift card?

Store issued Gift Cards are redeemable in any of our Free People stores, through our catalog or for merchandise featured on the FreePeople.com web site.

To redeem a physical Gift Card for web site merchandise, select Gift Card as the pay method on the check out page, enter your Gift Card number and submit your order.

To redeem an e-Gift Card for web site merchandise, you will additionally have to enter the PIN number sent with your e-gift card. For more information, click here.

How can I check the balance on my gift card?

You may check the balance on your Gift Card by calling (800) 920-5656 or by visiting any of our Free People stores.

What if I lose my gift card?

Gift Cards that are purchased through the FreePeople.com web site or any of our affiliate Free People stores are bearer documents. FreePeople.com is unable to reissue Gift Cards that have been lost or stolen.

What if my gift card won't arrive on time?

Ooops! So you've waited until the last minute. Send a Free People e-gift card and get it to her asap!
