This jacket is the most beautiful, carefree, flowing, gorgeous accessory piece I have EVER purchased from Free People! For anyone thinking about whether or not to buy it, don't. It's totally worth the price in it's uniqueness alone. It arrived EXACTLY AS SHOWN on the model in the studio images. the exact fit, color, length, sleeve length, painted details, collar beaded details, etc... it's just gorgeous!!! It is not meant to be a warm jacket, and the lining is very very thin - much like some of the FP built-in slips, but that part doesn't matter, because the outside is why I bought it. WOW WOW WOW is all I can say...it's just stunning!!! It definitely runs a tad small, however, so if you wear a typical FP small or medium, I would stay to your size - just knowing that you will not be able to layer much under it. I don't plan to layer under this personally...and it's so awesome (and literally light enough) that it can be worn during cooler summer nights too!!! Think of it as a very very soft, flexible, leather cardigan that is about the same in weight as a chamois. AMAZING JACKET - and I am SO HAPPY I spent the money!!!

Firstly I had a very difficult time justifying such an expensive piece. But, I actually had gift cards after returning some things I haven't worn. I fell in love with this jacket online and now that I opened my shipment today from Free People I am in true love with this Jacket. It's rust not red. And is the most beautiful, beautiful unique piece I have. !!!!!
I am 5'6'' and my bust is 38 c/d depending on the style of bra. (just fyi) I put the jacket on and is more of a "light sweater" I imagined it being much heavier. It's like a chamois type material. Lightweight but, so gorgeous! I am a small in most free people garments and I was undecided but, after calling to place my order and talking to the free people rep decided small would be the best choice. It's a "perfect fit" I am thrilled. The jacket looks more like the last photo. It's a time piece!
