We are required to charge local sales tax in states where Free People has a physical presence. We collect tax for deliveries to the following states: PA, VA, NJ, NY, MA, IL, CA, CT, TX & SC.

HOW WILL I KNOW THAT MY ORDER WAS ACCEPTED?

After you click "Submit Order" an e-mail confirmation including an order number will be sent to the e-mail address entered when the order was placed. You can also check the status of your order by logging into My Account.
Click on “Order History” to review order status and to obtain a tracking number..
HOW CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?

Please call us at 800-309-1500 as soon as possible to either add or remove an item from your order.Once an order is being packed at our Distribution Center we are no longer able to modify your order.
WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED?
Once your order has shipped, your credit card will be charged. You will only be charged for the items that are shipped to you, along with appropriate shipping and tax, where applicable. Orders are subject to verification and acceptance before shipping. We are not responsible for errors made during order, address or credit card entry.
MY ITEM IS BACKORDERED. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Good things come to those who wait! We sometimes have merchandise for sale that has not yet been received at our distribution center, or that has sold out and is being restocked. You can still order these items to reserve your favorite color or size, and then we'll ship it to you when supplies are replenished. The expected ship date for backordered merchandise is listed when you add an item to your basket, and also during checkout. We do our best to keep these dates accurate, but please be aware that in rare circumstances we may experience delays.
If your order contains a mix of in stock items and backordered items and you select express shipping, we will only be able to apply the expedited shipping to the in stock items. Backordered items cannot be expedited and will ship via standard shipping when they arrive.
GIFT WRAP OPTIONS

Let us take care of the wrapping! For a $4 charge, your item will be wrapped in cream tissue and placed in our muslin gift bag. A bright floral center panel and colorful drawstring yarn ties gives our gift bag that unique Free People touch. Best of all, the bag can be used over and over again!
We also offer a "Self Wrap" option. For a $3 charge, we will send you all of the fixings above for you to wrap the item yourself. (Kit includes 1 gift bag, tissue paper, cardboard support and sticker.)

PRICE ADJUSTMENT POLICY

Should an item from the website or catalogue be marked down please contact us within 14 days from the date of shipment, we will honor a one time price adjustment. Credits will be applied back to the original form of payment. If you paid with a gift card, a new card will be issued for the amount of the credit. Please contact us to request a price adjustment.
Unfortunately, we are unable to process price adjustments for merchandise purchased at our Free People boutiques. Please contact the store directly for questions regarding their price adjustment policy.
