Paired with edgy ankle boots and black biker jacket, showing just enough to keep the imagination alive. The slip is a little long but easy to shorten. Rated 5 out of 5Â by kaybay Interesting Maxi I originally ordered this skirt in the navy (no longer available). After reading everyone's reviews, I ordered a size down and got an extra small instead of my usual small. The waistband was still a little bit loose (I usually wear a size 25 in pants and weigh between 110-115 lbs if that helps for sizing), but not so much that it was falling off. I would definitely recommend sizing down as I did. As all the other reviews say, the skirt is incredibly long (I am only 5'5), so much so that it's too long even with four inch heels on, but I expected that when I ordered it. I plan on just cutting the material because it does have a rough edge. (Plus it's better too long than too short - maxis that aren't floor skimming can look awkward in my opinion.) The fabric is very gauzy, but not so much that it makes it look cheap. And the plus to this fabric and the rough edge is that it can be made into a shorter style if one gets of the maxi (these was my first long skirt purchase after long debating/resisting the trend). I bought a medium length slip to wear under it and it looks great (as stated by others, it is EXTREMELY sheer). I actually liked it so much that I ended up ordering the white as well. The white does have a black waistband, but I think that this makes it more interesting. Overall, despite the fact that is it is VERY long, this skirt is really great and will make an interesting component to many of my outfits...I love lounging around in them, and the white looks especially great over a swimsuit on the beach! 9.6.2011

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Zanni Miles Long I read the reviews before I purchased this, so I knew that the skirt would come with a black waistband instead of the pictured white... No big deal although the white waistband I feel would have looked inifinitely better. It's also extremely LONG. I'm 5'7, slender, and ordered a medium... not only does it seem like an extra foot of fabric drags on the ground, I'm basically swimming in the waistband. I probably should've ordered a small. I'm going to keep it because I want to cut the length and make it multi-lengths, which I hope will end up looking lovely! 9.6.2011

Rated 5 out of 5 LOVE Wore the black/navy slip over the Seamless Romper in black and the Joe Lace Up Over the Knee boots in khaki. Looked amazing and got a ton of compliments. I wore the skirt higher up and had a few inches with the boots, so it was the perfect height for me (I am almost 5'9" though), would be easy to cut to the right length. I would say for the sale price, totally worth it. 8.17.2011

I'm 6' tall and definitely need heels to wear this so it can fall just right above my shoes. I wear it with black leggings which have a slight sheen to them which equates to a wonderful contrast. Rated 5 out of 5Â by tlslcsw so cute I love this skirt. It is so ethereal. It is also so long! I can pull it up over my bust as a maxi dress and it is still long! However, It can be cut as it is a raw edge and the material allows for it. I will wear it over leggings or a short skirt.. The waistband and material are stretchy so it is sort of one size fits all (I ordered a medium and would usually order a large to be safe), but if you are really small, definitely order the smallest size. Unfortunately, that is not my problem! 7.26.2011

Rated 3 out of 5Â by tteibel LOOOOOOOOONG Everyone is right, this is incredibly long. Also, it does have a black waist band. This limits it's style some. As far as the length is concerned, it does have a raw edge so I will just cut it. At 5'2", wearing high on the waist, there is still at least 8" laying on the floor. This is worth it at the sale price, but not full price, if you don't mind the black waistband and a little handy work. It is very soft! 7.25.2011

I did think it would probably be easy to make but these hands can't go anywhere near a sewing machine. Plus I thought the time and money it would take me to make this myself I might as well just buy it. So it only has 4 stars because like others have said it is long. I am 5'9" and I have to wear it high on my waist almost to my boobs so it won't hit the ground. But I am going to cut the bottom because it has a raw edge anyway so it wont matter if you cut it to your desired length. Another reason for the 4 stars is it is a little big, you definitely should go down a size (the band is really stretchy). Other than that I'm in love. Got the navy kinda more like black. Can see it like the model or in fall and winter with leggings and boots and a cropped chunky sweater! 7.25.2011
