The jeans are quite a thin material though, the tapestry fabric material is quite wooly and does have a tiny bit of stretch. They are a tiny bit lighter in colour than pictured. The jeans are tighter at the bottom of the leg. 9.8.2012

Rated 3 out of 5Â by leslieh cute but what makes it cute also kills it These are really cute jeans--nice wash, nice fabric, nice cut. However, the feature that makes them most interesting and stylistically innovative also makes them problematic: the blanket fabric that is on the back calf has no give at all, so unless you have tiny calves, there is a problem with fit. I have a 13-inch calf, and am a solid size 25 or 26 in almost any designer jean. I ordered the 26 in these, and they were still way too small in the calf. Unlike the usual give of denim with a little stretch, the blanket patch made these completely rigid around the calf, and the zipper didn't help. Sadly, these have to go back--really cute but just an awkward fit. 7.5.2012
