SOOOOOO GREAT. these are really comfortable boots, I got them in gold for my birthday and I wish I had the money to afford the black ones too. These are really (for once) an amazing job in both look, fit, AND comfort by Jeffery Campbell. put aside any past stereotypes and preexisting problems you have had with Jeffery Campbell products because these will blow your mind. I read the other reviews and decided to size up and they fit great. To get them on you have to undo a buckle or two but would you really want to sacrifice the look of these gorgeous piece of love babies for a zipper to get them on quickly? I read a review that said she was disappointed that for the price she had to undo the buckles to get them on and off.. come on ladies have we lost all dignity and motivation for life? can we not undo a couple buckles for the sake of fashion. Anyways buy these you will not be disappointed they are amazing and you will love them forever just remember to size up! also the gold is true to color except the buckles are silver

Ok, I am SO disappointed, I just had to send these back because they were way small, and I ordered them in the 10, which is the biggest size they offer. SO many retailers make the mistake of saying that a size 40 EUR is equivalent to a size 10 US - IT IS NOT. A size 10 US is a size 41 EUR and even then it's usually a tight fit. I grew up in Europe and this was a widely known fact but I see so many size charts these days that are just plain wrong, and I'm guessing they didn't bother to order any in a size 41. And I normally wear a size 9.5, sometimes even a 9 and the 40 or "10" didn't fit! Incredibly frustrated I was so looking forward to these. On a quality note, I got these in brown and the upper is nice but the lower is man-made and pretty cheap looking - overall, I didn't feel like they looked worth the money. Also, I had to pull SUPER HARD to get the middle buckle to even reach the first hole on that strap. Bummer. I'm would have done three stars for the appearance because they are just average, but because of the size issue I have to go down to one!

When I first saw these shoes, I was a little unsure about whether to buy them just because I didn't know how the sizing ran. Im usually either a 7 or 7 1/2 so I decided to order the 8 just to be cautious. First off, they came so quickly in the mail I was so impressed. When I opened the box, I was literally amazed of how great they looked. I put them on and knew they were perfect, the 8 fit perfectly and I would highly recommend these shoes. I am so happy with them and I know these are going to be in heavy rotation this fall! For anyone who's iffy about the purchase, I would definitely say go for it because you won't regret it!

I took advantage of this style running small. I'm a size 5, ordered a 6, and they fit perfectly -- not too loose, not too tight. I'd say go up about half a size. They're not as distressed as pictured, however, you'll definitely achieve that look after you wear them for a good couple months. I have them in black and just ordered them in brown. :) This design is so timeless. They pair well with shorts for the summer, hi-lo dresses for spring, and any kind of pants for fall. A must have, girls!

Love these boots. They run small, I wear a 9 and and order a 10 after reviews. They have stretched out in just one day. But wished they made them true to size. Jeffery boots are always the coolest. Just made small. So if you our a 10 they will be to small.xxxx

So, i love Jeffrey Campbell shoes and am generally a size 9. I bought this boot in size 10 and am making it work ... and it's worth it ... but a size 11 would be better. So if you can size up one or two DO IT. Not sure why this sizing thing is happening with JC (usually pretty consistent), nor am i sure why they didn't make larger sizes (my feet aren't that big). Anyway, as other reviewers have noted, the sole is a little funny, it seems to collapse in the arch, and the heel seems placed a little too close to the arch. Also, these didn't come as distressed as in the picture (they were more of a true black), but i'm okay with distressing my own shoes, so that didn't bother me. The leather seems kind of weak (thin) at the straps ... it may be an issue as time goes on? So, not a particularly good value shoe ... but it is super cute.

Out of the box, these (black) boots do not have the rustic-distressed look as pictured. As a matter of fact, until I have 'broken these in' they will continue to bring me buyer's remorse. The size 10s--I'm usually an 8.5B--are SHORT and TIGHT, especially the left boot which has a raised seam on the inside heel area that gave me a huge blister after a couple of hours of wear--with footies! In that same time frame, 2 of the tiny vertical straps,--there are 12 total-- that secure the larger buckle strap, snapped off at the top metal pin and are hanging on by the bottom pin! For the price of the boot, no way that should of happened. Also, the metal buckles and pins appear silver in the pic, but are a brass color. Love the height of the heel. As the boots stretch out, I'm sure they will become my favorites, but we're off to a rough start.

So I received these boots in a black size 9, a size larger than my normal 8. I am extremely disappointed. I never size up and did in this case but regret it. I can pull the boots off without unbuckling them and my foot slides around. To make things worse, one boot is perfect while the other one looks like its been worn for a season. The left boot has scuff marks (which I could care less about on "distressed" leather) that are poorly "covered" up by a black polish pen. The pen markings make the shoe look cheap. The left boot is also heavily deformed and creased. The soles on the boots are uneven and make for an awkward arch position. I'm going to exchange them for an 8, and hopefully have better luck. I am so disappointed in this particular pair.
