Jim Barnier is based out of Los Angeles, Ca. Through his boot, sandal, and now bag lines, Jim wants to stress the individual sense of style of women in a casual and sophisticated way.
The JB Whistlestop Bag is hand-made in LA. It is made of Lattigo leather, a western cowhide that looks and wears better with age. This bag is made in an old-world method because there is no stitching to hold the bag together. To give the bag a real vintage edge, rivets and the craftsman’s leather-lacing method is used. The design of this bag was inspired by a book satchel that he used in college in the 1970’s.
