Rated 2 out of 5 by Misleading I agree with the previous reviewer. The color of the cognac boots is totally misleading. When I got them in the mail I really thought FP had sent me the dark brown by mistake. The color of the boots on the website is gorgeous.... in person the cognac looks the dark brown color. No resemblance. These will definitely be going back because I did not want dark brown boots! I love Frye; if you still want these... I would say they are TTS (do not size down if you typically do in Frye) and the quality is what you would expect. 12.9.2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous I ordered my usual sz 7 in dark brown. I absolutely love it. The color is almost as shown but richer in real life. I already have the cognac pair, but unlike previous reviewers, i love this color more! I guess to each her own:) They are more fitted on my calves than on the model, and since i'm shorter than the model (im 5'5"), the top of the boots hit me just below my knees which is just fine. They're so comfortable as with all fryes. The quality is great and what you would expect for frye boots. These are easily one of my favourites! And it is well worth it for the sale price. There's not much left so take the plunge - you won't regret it. 4.24.2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cute, Color, and Aggravation I have been eyeing these boots for months, but the $398 price tag a bit much for me. When Free People had a flash sale, I did not hesitate to buy these. I bought them in cognac and when they arrived I was a little disappointed. The boots were more of a plain brown color, so they didn't even resemble the beautiful cognac color in the photos. Still, I liked the style of the boots so I tried them on, or should I say I wrestled them on. It took me a good 15 minutes to get both boots on and my hands were dead by the time I got them on! The problem point was getting my heel in. While the boots looked cute and had nice thick leather, I decided the color and putting the boots on were not worth the aggravation, so I will be returning them. 12.4.2013
