"Iam a 63 year old flower child at heart, that was my era. Long hair I did have and I had a pair of similar and smaller pony/pigtail holders made for me by a leathercrafter friend. Over the years they got lost and I was very eager to get these when they appeared. I purchased the red pair and they are: 1. Very well constructed and heavy duty
2. Once you get the hang of lacing them, they
not come off or fall off.
3. The medium size bead that you pull up to
secure the laces is on their tight and does not
fall down.
The bead in made of wood and I have exchanged my wood bead for an antique trade bead. These are unique and very well made.
These are heavy duty and once on they are fidgit free!
I will be getting the tan ones also.
Maybe FP will get these in other colors."

"Ok first...I got a pair of these, thought I was only buying 1, so that was a nice surprise. Second, it takes some practice to secure these holders (have a GF help you, if possible)...but once you have them in, they're darling! Very reminicent of my teenage years in the 1970s!"

"These are really fun. Once I got them on I absolutely love them. I would of given them 5 stars but they are very tricky to put on by your self. It will probably take some practice. But really add to an outfit. Unique."

"These are longer than I expected, but they're sooooo NEAT!!! They don't fall out easily either. I was worried that with my thin hair they would just slide right off but they stay in place fairly well. I gotta grow my hair out a bit more for these but I plan on making good use of them :D"
