Am I paying for the buckle?

"I really like this belt. It fits so well(i got the large 38inch hips). The ram buckle is wonderful and unique. It seems pretty sturdy. I know it says it is a vintage belt. And it certainly is. Obviously the leather straps they use for the picture are in excellent vintage condition. The one I received was frayed and tearing at some of the holes. Is it so bad? No. But I feel its a little deceiving when you have a photo of a vintage strap in excellent condition and the one you receive is clearly not. Ive purchased plenty of vintage straps at other shops for much less so Im wondering if the $258(sale $100)price tag is for the unique buckles. Im all about investing in unique so I may just keep this one and replace straps when necessary."

"The belt I received is not as pictured at all. The buckle/ram part is, but the belt itself is not. Here they have pictured two brown leather belts, I received a black belt with paintings of long horns on it.
Aside from that, the two smallest holes to buckle it were torn, as if worn heavily.

I kept it only because it was the last of the ram buckle, and because I really love that part. But I am very disappointed with the quality of the belt, and the fact that free people thought this was quality enough to sell to someone, when another had clearly worn it in excess."
