this top isn't true to the photo on the website. I can imagine that they might not all be the same because of the loose knit, but this one has a stretched out, warped fit. When worn and sitting on the shoulders comfortably, the back rises up too high and it's awkward looking. If I shift it back, the front is much higher than shown in the picture. exchanging for sure.

This is a great over fit sweater. I own a lot of Free People slips and they will look great with this. I don't believe I will be wearing it like the model with a bared midriff, I will be wearing it with all my slips and dresses. Great summer staple.

I bought this in orange because I could not bring myself to buy another ivory top! The orange is muted and the feel of the top is soft. Will wear over a nice "meant to be shown" bra, a tea length slip or a cami and skirt. Just a relaxed open feel to this top. The weaving on mine is pretty even gauge but I saw some tops that had irregular hole sizes. I think this is the intent and natural history of this top- I can expect after a wash that it will stretch and change a bit just by the material. Will still look very boho as intended.

this fits a bit loose and cropped as designed. the knit is loose but it's not the kind that would keep getting looser and bigger. i find the sand color very versatile. on its own, i'd probably find it a bit too cropped, but since i intend to wear this over maxi dresses or tank/maxi skirt combos, i think the length is great. i also like that the neckline is wide enough for me to wear it off one shoulder.
