"I love everything about this dress. It is a romantic dream. The color is just as pictured, but the pictures do not do the detailing justice. The sheer fabric floats on top of the lining, the back detail is stunning, but it is the embroidery that makes this dress worth every penny. I didn't know that 4 Love & Liberty was a division of Johnny Was. Johnny Was is known internationally for their unmatched embroidery. I own several pieces. I am 5'5", 38-26-36, 36C bra size and usually wear a M/10 in dresses because of my chest measurement. I bought this in a M and found it roomy compared to the fit on the model. The bodice appears to fit close to the model's frame, whereas, the cut is actually more blousy. If you want a closer fit you could size down, but I feel it looks better loose. But since that is an individual thing, I can certainly attest that there is lots of room in the chest. My M measures 21" armpit to armpit. If you like feminine pieces with intricate detailing and that vintage vibe, I highly recommend this dress. :-)"

"I was so excited to get this in the mail and it finally came today. The dress is fairly large on my 5' 2" frame. I am a 32B my waist is 26 inches and my hips are 33 inches . I ordered an XS and the top seems way to big. And if i try to tighten the string in the middle it just makes the top kinda of bubble over and look really goofy. Also since the top is so big the back part also will hang lower than the string and not lay tight enough against your back and then you can see the slip underneath in the back. Also if you don't tighten the string enough at the waist then the dress just looks like a sac. It also hits me at about knee length which doesn't look cute unless i tighten it enough and then it just bubbles over. Other than that the flowers on the dress and so beautiful and the ruffles are too, but I do not think is at all worth $300. Maybe a girl who is a bit taller than me could pull off an XS. I am debating sending it back."

""Oh my gosh is that cute!" Is what my Grandma said after she saw this little baby. It is soo very pretty and delicate, but well constructed. Even though it is lined, it is still on the sheer side, so add an extra slip. The fabric is beautiful, and the embroidery is just stunning. This is a unique and beautiful dress to be sure. I got the size Large and it fits nicely with the adjustable waist. The length of this was perfect and hit me right at mid-thigh (5'9")."
