I have a lot to say about this skirt, so please bear with me! I am really pleased with it. I overlooked it for ages because I thought it was just another jersey maxi that would be disappointingly unflattering and paper-baggish. However it is comfortable and flattering and drapes really well. I am usually L or 12 in FP skirts, occasionally M or 10, 5'6" and am pretty broad-hipped. This skirt in L (could possibly have sized down but didn't bother trying) makes me look 'long and lean' and I would recommend it to anybody curvaceous if they would like to feel a bit more column-like once in a while! It is very long as previously noted, but rolls at the waist without looking bunched up or spoiling the drape, is long enough to work as a maxi dress if that's your style, or could simply be cut. Fabric is thin but I wouldn't say cheap, just cleverly deployed, not transparent and gives almost a silkiness, has enough weight to hang well. Dresses up or down, any season, you could use a plain maxi slip under for warmth or coverage. I have this in black (2 of them because I don't want to be without it at any time!), taupe and charcoal. A request and a suggestion for FP: please do this in more colours, I and I'm sure others would buy them. Personally I'd love a dusty purple like the Mad Hatter black & purple tee and a pebble colour like the Lydia skirt. Someone else mentioned navy and I bet khaki green would go down well. And I think a lot of ladies who are a size 12 plus would be really happy with this flattering and comfortable skirt if you also offered it in XL.

I am 5'5" and ordered a size medium, which is my usual size. I ordered both the rust and taupe, and the colors are absolutely beautiful in real life. I agree with some users that the fabric could be a bit thicker, but I love how it feels so light and airy, and thus will be great for summer.
Now when I wear it as a skirt, the skirt is very very long (almost has like a train because it's so long). When I pull up the skirt and wear it as a strapless dress, it his just below my ankle and is perfect as a maxi dress. I would belt it to give the dress some shape.
However, what I think I'm going to do is cut it, so that I can wear it as a skirt and it will be a midi skirt and hit my shin, and then when I wear it as a dress it will hit right around the knee. I really think this piece can be versatile, as you can wear it as a loose dress, or belt it as a dress, and then wear it as skirt.
I'm excited to wear it!

Lots of the previous reviews are correct on here regarding this skirt. It is a true maxi and does run long, however I am 5'9 so this is an amazing length. For girls who are the petite side the bottom is unfinished, and can easily be shortened.
Just like many other ladies on here my only qualm with this skirt is the price. The over all quality is wonderful, however for the material, the price is too high. If the skirt was made from a heavier weight of cotton, I would feel better about spending the 88$
Even with that said, I can see myself purchasing at-least one of the other colors,( FP please make this in navy) this skirt is a great staple piece and runs true to size

I'm 5'10'' bare foot 145 pounds and this skirt covers my shoes. It's really versatile and the material is very soft. I can't wait to wear this with a oversized white v-neck and my brown chelsea boots.
Rated 5 out of 5Â by klhardy04 SO long, but SO cute
Like pretty much every other reviewer has said, this skirt is SO long but with the raw hem you can easily cut it to the perfect length - I ordered the small and I was actually a little worried that the waistband would be snug but its actually fairly loose - it fits more like the second taupe picture - the fabric wasn't as thick as I thought it would be which was a little disappointing but it looks so cute styled like they have it with a black top and a leather jacket, can't wait to wear it, I just have to cut off about a foot first!

I love this skirt but it is just too long!I ordered this in medium (I have never been a size small in anything); I am 5'9 130 lbs and I pulled this thing up as high up as it will go without falling and it is still too long!! It would probably be just fine with some sort of heeled shoe but I prefer flats. I'll probably still keep this though because I love the material and the overall look. Maybe I'll even try a smaller size.

I like this skirt but it seems pricey for what it is. I love the pockets and the cut is good. I might encourage you to wait for it to become a sale item.

Pros: Silhouette is feminine and can be casual or dressed up, soft comfy jersey material, taupe color is versatile without being black.
Cons: Length is very long, could be smaller around the waistband to be more true to size.
I wear an XS, 5'5", 105 lbs. and the XS in this skirt could be smaller around the waist to fit correctly. It's not falling off of me, but it doesn't sit on it's own as high on my waist as I'd like to wear it (like it is shown on the model). Quick fix: thin wrap around leather belt, one with holes all along to belt to adjust accordingly. Yes, the length is super long, but that's a good thing for the taller girls. The hem can always be cut since it is a raw edge. I couldn't come to terms with cutting it yet so in the meantime, I discovered that it looks cute tucked into one of the pockets. Just grab whole skirt from the bottom and tuck it into a pocket on one side, makes for a different flattering silhouette when rocked with heels. Enjoy!
